Fauzi Azar Inn by Abraham Hostels
Ranked #1 of 16 Nazareth B&B and Inns
Certificate of Excellence

The genuine Arabic food is scrumptious. The views of Nazareth are beautiful. The ancient character of the building adds so much to your journey. The staff are so helpful and quickly become your friends; it's even their policy to make as much free cake as you can eat! The rooms each have their own unique character. My only regret is that we didn't get to stay longer. If you're coming to Israel, you must stay at the Fauzi Azar! It's a destination in and of itself. It feels more like you're coming to stay in someone's really cool, old home than in a hotel.

Room Tip: Try to get one of the rooms off of the lobby...it's worth it for the exquisitely painted ceiling...

I sat at the Fauzi Azar lobby sipping tea and reading a book, staring from time to time at the beautifully painted ceiling. The staff were amazing, switching between Arabic, English and Hebrew, always attentive and helpful. Fauzi Azar is not only calm, but also full of energy: the guys at the reception gave us some great ideas regarding what to do in town. Breakfast was a scrumptious feast of fresh Arab delights, and one of the ladies gave me her secret tips for the best omelet. Not to be missed!

The Fauzir Azar was my find of Israel, If had know more about it I would have stayed longer.
It’s a very clean and well run family place with great staff and a great breakfast. For walkers it is a must, the volunteer staff come from all over the world to walk and guide groups on the trails around the area. They also offer good sound advice for those wanting to go solo.
Add that to the fresh cake everyday with free tea and coffee and you will have a wonderful time and meet some great people.
The dorm I stayed in was of the highest possible standard as were the showers and toilets. Clean towels and lockers are just the icing on the cake. You could spend a week there and make it a holiday in its own right. The staff also offer a free city tour every morning which is awesome, Sammi also provides a really good map and advice on places to see and eat. Some will even give discount if you‘re staying at Fauzir Azar.
In short top class, I’d go back to Israel just to stay there…

Room Tip: book in advance it can get very busy...

The staff are friendly and personable, and they are constantly making cake and other goodies that are free of charge. They have great Internet access, hot water, free coffee and tea, and comfortable beds. To top it all off, you have some cool views of Nazareth and it is located in the old city and has restaurants relatively close by.

Very nice and helpful staff. Building itself is beautiful, and the accommodations are great. Location is excellent.

Room Tip: Call in advance. Rooms right off the reception lobby can get hot

Nazareth can be a little bit of a culture shock. Especially by car. We parked in the lot they recomen ded and enjoyed a short walk through winding streets on a well marked path to this lovely inn! Great! The cake was yummy! Felt like home. Super nice staff!!!

Slightly tricky to find as are a lot of other places in Nazareth, but me and my husband were glad that this was one of the places we got to stay durring our honeymoon through Israel. Doesn't have a hotel'y feel which is great - beautiful courtyard and unique rooms, helpful staff that directed us to a great restaurant and other sights. Our room didn't have a TV, which for some might seem like a bummer, but I found it as a good thing, because TV is a thing you should avoid while traveling (if your tired - read a book or talk).
