I guess not at all what I was expecting. A small dirty town, but the church is lovely, with a small court yard area. The toilets are no great shakes

The town is small and dirty, you feel like you are in the wrong place but when you get into the real place where the biblical history happened you feel that you are part of it. Smaller than I though but with a lot of meaning. If you know the story you will enjoy so much being there.

There is a nice church where you can renew your marriage vows and get a blessed certificate even. The shop right opposite has the best wine in town.

You will not even see the town named as "Cana" on a map. Not much sense of history here. We had a renewal of vows at the Franciscan Wedding Church but since we were with over 30 other couples and the church was so small, and the pace was so rushed, it was not what I had imagined it would be.
