If you plan on visiting Nazareth, this hotel is a must stay location. The rooms are wonderful, the sitting areas and balconies were the perfect place to take an afternoon rest, and the breakfast was delicious. We were very well taken care of with several recommendations for food and sightseeing. I would encourage everyone to stay here.

Lovely guest house; couldn,t be made more welcome by Emil; we had en suite room; nice little sitting areas & balcony; very clean & central for old Nazareth; we stayed 2 days & nights there; he has a lovely little gift shop nearby; with locally made gifts, was like Aladdins cave; informative for walking tours & how to get around; didn,t get lost once; just toured the old town & surrounding areas as we had hired a car to get around; would highly recommend staying there; thank you Emil for your hospitality & all your help .

What a wonderful treat. I really enjoyed my stay at the Al Mutran Guest House. Very friendly place. Close the shopping and the religious sites. Super easy to get around on foot. I did hire a taxi to go to Nahariyya after a 2 night stay here but I am sure the buses will get you here as well. Lots of Shwarma stands, etc. so you won't. go hungry. Yes, Emil, does a wonderful job with breakfast and anything you might need. Don't forget to visit the gift shop where Emil also works. It is just a few steps away. Thank you to Amir's wife (the owners) for the nice glass of wine we had together one evening. And if you have trouble with the room key (old skeleton style) just remember you have to turn it around in the lock twice. Took me a few trys to get it. Thank you Sally (marketing director) for our nice chat. I will definitely be back.

Room Tip: Just keep in mind. There are stairs and no elevator. I have multiple sclerosis with balance and str...

This is a lovely guesthouse in close walking distance to the sites of the old city and to good restaurants. It has a lovely old world charm. Emil is a wonderfully helpful and friendly host. The breakfast was a delicious selection of interesting things (eggs, cheese, olives, salad, humous, halva etc etc) . It was a shame there was only nescafe for the coffee selection, but that was the only minor complaint. The front rooms with windows to the square are the best ones. Room 4 has no windows in the bedroom (although there is a bathroom window). It is really clean, and lots of nice decorations. Free tea and coffee making facilities are a nice touch, and the communal areas are lovely places to sit and chat or relax. It was a really nice place to stay with a lovely atmosphere.

Room Tip: Get a front room with windows to the little square .

Charming and beautifully restored old Turkish house in the heart of Nazareth's old city. All 12 rooms have a new private bathrooms and are nice and clean. You can enjoy the view of Nazareth from the little common balcony. Excellent location, less than 5 minute walk to the famous Basilica and other religious sites as well as some good restaurants. WiFi and breakfast are included in the price. The best thing however was our host Emil - the nicest and the most friendly host we had in whole Israel. Nothing was too much for him. Free parking in front of the house in the little square. Call ahead for the directions if you are driving as we were trying to find the place for 1 hour (there is Al Mutran neighbourhood as well, so all local people that we asked for Al Mutran Guesthouse sent us to the wrong direction, assuming we need a neighborhood Al Mutran). Also Fauzi Azar Inn free walking tour is highly recommended.

Room Tip: Every room has a private bathroom

Overall, the best option to sleep in the Nazareth Old City. Not only the place is confortable and charming, but the team running this place are really friendly and helpful. One of the best experiences during my trip to the Middle East.

Emil, who runs the place, is a wonderful person, and very helpful even in the smallest details, he even help us walkiing us around the area to find the best spot to park our car during our stay (which is a very complex process by the way). An excellent talker (fluent english), he can help you to understand the city.

Definitely, I would return to this place.

A fantastic location - a little piece of paradise in the middle of the busy old city. Close to some fantastic restaurants easy walking distance. Friendly staff who went out of their way to add the personal touch. Shared facilities but renovations were just about to start to make all rooms with their own bathrooms. Definitely worth a stay.
