last week we spent 4 nights at the hotel with our children & grandchildren. this was our 2nd time there but this time with a larger group. this ia really a charming place with a lot of green arround. the rooms are large and well equiped.
the food & the service are excellent.
it tooke us 3 hours to get there from Jerusalem but it was worth it. there are many activities at the hotel as well as in the neighbourhood

Room Tip: all the buildings are 2 floors only. each building has his own room type

Kfar Blum's Pastoral Hotel is made up of extensive grounds adjacent to the kibbutz, the buildings blend into the surrounding modest housing and are comfortable but simple. rooms are decent size (with many wheelchair accesible) opening to the huge lawns. The program manager, Hadas, makes an amazing job of building an all- ages appropraite program of arts and crafts workshops for childre, musical events and easy outings. The food is delicious and the place has been living up to its reputation for many years. Many families sign up for next year's vacation as soon as they check out, so places are hard to get especially for the High Holidays. The swimming pool is olympic size and well kept and the walk along the Jordan river is lovely. There is a small spa and the activities offered to families in the area are inexhaustable.
This is not a place for a romatic retreat with your significant other (though the musical weekends are great for a group of couples). We were a group of almost 20 ages 3 years to 77 and we all had a blast - again. Go raft on the Jordan, visit the migrating birds of the Agmon Hula, go wine-tasting and hike - or just rest and be pampered. Will be back next year inshalla!

Room Tip: first floor rooms open up directly onto the lawns. there are suites for large families also. There i...

This is like a place from your childhood. It's fresh, wholesome and full of families. Even as a couple travelling with no children, this felt homey. Ok, maybe not everyone's bag, but this place felt right, from the guest lounge, to the dining room and living suites, all are we'll appointed but not stuffy. Lastly - Wifi is everywhere!

We've stayed here in September. This is a great place with tidy and clean rooms. Plenty of areas outside for the kids to play and even a ping pong table. The food was very good, especially the breakfasts.

The (olympic) pool is terrific- we all enjoyed a great swim and playing in the water.

I highly recommend this place.
