Unpretentious and in the middle of the road ,bistro 60 is a little oasis , we popped in for an early supper with kids who played as the sun went down on the little patch of lawn . I looked out to the sea through the Jerusalem stone modern buildings beyond and everyone ate different meals, grilled fish, burgers, mixed meats and salads, excellent chips , with salt and pepper .
The gentleness of the waiter , his gleaming smile and acceptance of the different fussy requirements were a contrast to the hassle nature of tel aviv . Jaffa really is a little country on its own and bistro 60 a shining example. Walked back to tel aviv along the beach as the sun went down , magical .
