“Sea food and middle-eastern hospitality”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2013

Located at the Old Jaffa Port, right on the water of the marina. The place is always filled with diners and busy waiters. Fish are fresh, the breads are divine and before you even order, a large array of salads and dips, along with a basket of Laffa bread, is placed on your table.
The place is always busy (hence, i gather, the bad reviews the service has gotten here), but I haven't encountered anything of the sort. They accommodate large parties quite easily.

“Awful Service + Food Poisoning -- Great Combination!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2013

This place is really bad version of the Olive Garden, Israel Style. They fill you up with an endless supply of mediocre salads (not even the hummus was good!) and decent enough, although nearly burnt, pita, after which the main courses show up. Oh, and you get free lemonade that Crystal Light would be embarrassed to sell. The fish was passable, but the grilled chicken was half cooked and left my daughter with a case of food poisoning that ruined the rest of our trip -- and 10 days later, she's still sick. Tel Aviv and Jaffa are full of great restaurants, big and small, and this tourist trap shouldn't be on your list. If you want surly service with attitude, an outdoor restaurant with indoor summer heat, mediocre food in less than sanitary conditions and a guaranteed way not to gain weight on your trip, go here. Otherwise, find somewhere else -- it's really not that hard.

“Tipical Israeli - arabic place”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2013

i go to this place last week, in the Ramadan days for the moslims. this was a big mistake. the place was crwod with familis with childrens, just finish the all day fasing. we wait in line for 50 min. until we get to the table it was full of salat plates+limmonade+ laffa pita. this will cost 50 shekel ( $15)per person, even you dont order nothing. the waiter were very fast and polite. main course cost around 100 shekel, but if you order this - the salats included. the food was everege for this kind of place.

“Love this restaurant chain!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 31, 2013

There are now two locations, both in the Jaffa port. Both are delicious. You get 20 salads and lemonade the moment you sit down, regardless of what you order. The prices aren't outrageous and you can't possibly leave hungry!

“The worst service in Israel”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2013

The restaurant could be good, especially for the nice israeli salad serving.

BUT: the service was just rough and unpolite. Pita breads thrown on our table were not a pleasure, waiters far too busy and rough.

Fish food we ate was just below average.
