Went there last month. It was a very hot day and the humidity was high. We aat on the balcony, got a perfect view of the sea and Tel Aviv. The owner was very nice.
I think the prices were a little bit high and also the WC was out side (but very clean!) which was not comfortable but overall it was 9 out of 10.
The view and the taste worth the price!

Aladin - a breathtaking view of Ttel Aviv's skyline and still catching the great atmosphere of the old city of Jaffa. Food was ok, service was ok and the views are fantastic but you have to stand up to see them. Not overly expensive for the location and food and not as good as Aboulafia.

why couldn't it be the other why around ? this restaurant is on the hill overlooking the sea. great view.but if you SIT DOWN ALL YOU SEE IS A STONE WALL... so if you want view while dining you must STAND UPAND EAT STANDING UP... but to charge abouve 400 sekels for 2 starters 3 main courses and 3 soft drinks seems a bit overpriced. if the food was exellent we would have thought kindly on this restuarant. but it was just avarage. to give a danis boiled down in oil as a main course is just ruine the fish.

all that plus the fact that the restrooms are OUTSIDE the restaurant. that actually mean that you go doun 2 stories and around the building... ga...

was somewhat skeptical about choosing this restaurant as it's high up in the touristy section of old Jaffa, but I was also tired and hungry so I took a chance. As it turns out this restaurant, which has been open since 1967, is really quite lovely. The staff was warm and made me feel comfortable dining alone. The food was wonderful. I tried the hummus w fresh-from-the-oven pita...what a difference between that and the dry crap we eat in the US. They are known for their fish and mine was exceptionally good. I'd suggest the patio for the best view...though it was a bit chilly in February.
