“Nice Hotel”
Reviewed February 13, 2013

This was our first stay in Israel and it was a great hotel. Great view of the Med from our hotel. Great breakfast buffet, great food choices. Nice large room with large tub in the bathroom. Great location to numerous restaurants at the marina.

I must be missing something that the other exuberant reviewers are seeing. I've stayed here 5 times now and each time its a feeling of "could be a great hotel but isn't...". Its a 3-4 star hotel primed to think as a 5 star one and has ways to go yet.

Location: This is a definite plus. A quiet suburb of Tel Aviv, beach location and with restaurants/ small malls close by (plus the Technology Park), its all good.

Lobby etc: This can be a hit or miss. Sometimes I've had the best of staff putting your entire visit mood to be positive and sometimes (unfortunately 3 of the 5 times) they can't be bothered for the time of the day as they swipe the card for a $300+/night charge. The bellman was busy chatting with a buddy; the girl behind the reception decided to answer every English query in Hebrew while periodically starting a tangential conversation with a colleague - does the guest come first? and the general feel was a drag. The best of hotels become that by consistency of great service - read consistency - and that is certainly a hit or miss here.

Rooms: I'm had rooms across the pool area - these were nice and big. I've had rooms in the main building such as on this trip and they were passable at best in comfort, size and amenities - certainly not worth the $300 tag. 9pm a staff member barges into the room - no knocks, no nothing and then had a surprised/grumpy look when I queried if "he could have bothered to knock or seen the "Do not disturb sign"?" Gruffness as service isn't nice. I was on the 1st floor Wing 163-156 - avoid this if you can. Off the elevators is a service entrance which was noisy all the time and the traffic was annoying. Tatty doors on the service entrance don't communicate a great impression either. My sink and tub could have done with a better wash and a half filled bath gel bottle wasn't my idea of pristine amenities.

Breakfast: A strange mixture of good and weird. The breakfast room has 2 parts - one with glass windows with a pool/beach view and the other internal one. As others have also mentioned, they like to draw the curtains on the sea view and herd you to the lousy internal room. Block the sun, water highlight? The food is ok - a decent spread of most things you'd expect. The service is erratic - one morning was the nicest person taking care to ask if the coffee etc was satisfactory; the next day a request for a cappuccino got a surly 'ask the next waiter'. In a run of the mill hotel, I wouldn't care if the table was spotless or not; in an upscale claimant hotel to sit and eat where the tablecloth has crumbs from the past diners isn't what is called classy.

I'll probably return to the hotel - more for the location - though if I wasn't traveling on the corporate dime, I can think of many other place where the money would be better spent.

Excellent choice although not inexpensive of hotel that is located on the beach of Herzliya (north of Tel - Aviv).
The rooms are large and spacious, excellent service and the breakfast is rich and varied.
The view from the room breathtaking, Just click on the button in the morning and see the Mediterranean stretched in front of you.
The hotel beach is beautiful and nearby you can find many restaurants and shopping mall.
The disadvantage (or advantage) of the hotel is that it's not located in Tel - Aviv (twenty minute drive without traffic jams).

Room Tip: Even if they are a bit more expensive, take a sea facing rooms

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your much appreciated feedback.

We are delighted to read that you had a pleasant and relaxing stay with us and enjoyed the comfort of our rooms and the rich variety of the mediterranean breakfast along with the spectacular sea view.
We agree that being outside of Tel Aviv can be both advantageous and less so; as mentioned, close enough to many of the hot spots and attractions without the noise or traffic and city bustle.
We thank for choosing the Accadia hotel and look forward do welcoming you back in the near future.

We stayed one night in December. The room was very well equipped large and clean, with a very big bed. We ate dinner and lunch on Saturday. The variety of delicious food and desserts was immense almost overwhelming. The hotel is on the beach but far from the night life of tel aviv, about fifteen minutes by cab to north Tel Aviv. There are restaurants and a shopping mall near by. The best is the beautiful beach just outside the hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the new wing on the south

Thank you for your kind review, we are delighted to read what an enjoyable experience you had during your stay with us.
Our team of chefs work very hard to provide an expansive and sometimes 'overwhelming' selection for our guests, we will be sure to pass on your compliments. Moreover, we'd have to agree with you, the location just over the Mediterranean sea is quite a sight!
