Really enjoyed my stay here. The room is clean and nice. Only 5 mins walk from Sea of Galilee. They have a very nice garden too. The food (buffet) was very delicious and lots of choices.

Beautiful area of Israel, the hotel grounds abuts the Sea of Galilee. You must have ground transportation if you want to explore outside the Kibbutz. The gounds include a museum that holds a 2000 year old fishing boat discovered around 2000.

Breakfast and dinner was included with room. Buffet style and plentiful! Of course you won't find any pork products.

Rooms were very adequate, leaning towards spartan. Single beds were pushed together for a double bed, which would have been OK except that the sheets were for single beds as well.

This hotel is mostly occupied by groups of travellers.
They manage it very well.
The rooms are standard but clean and ok.
Area is quiet and there is a special footpath to walk to the lake.
Food is tasty and very varied.
Conclusion: Good place to stay.

My fourth stay at Nof Ginosar just proved to me once again that this is a very good place to stay in the Galilee. The location cannot be beat, the rooms are quite adequate and breakfast is sumptuous.

Despite what another review here says about luggage handling I have never had a problem at all getting my luggage carried to my room.

On this trip we were forced to have 3 women per room (booked 2 rooms early on and then added 2 women to our group) and the room was still not unreasonably tight.

Rates seem to really be higher than when I was there previously, but, we found everything in Israel more expensive, so, I guess this was not an exception.

I'd requested a room with free wi-fi (they don't yet have it in ALL rooms) and got it.....what a nice bonus.

Someday I would like to stay a full ten days at Nof Ginosar!

The kibbutz was well maintained and very clean. It was much better than most Christian conference grounds here in the States. The rooms were rustic, but very nice ... especially at the end of a long day of touring. I loved the food - very tasty and lots of it!
To be frank, I didn't go to Israel to check out the hotels. I had much more important things to do. However, I was well fed, I slept very well, and completely enjoyed my stay. I plan on taking a group back to Israel this next year, and this will be on of the stops.

I was on one of those many tour buses. We were run ragged so didn't have time to notice problems with the pool. Also we were there over Shabbat, when everything in Israel closes down. But I have to say the food was wonderful, the rooms were clean and I slept like a log there, so the beds must have been comfortable. I don't remember. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. There is a secure wireless network, which was very nice. But the big selling point to me, the absolutely wonderful thing was the lake: The Sea of Galilee. It was so beautiful. I am determined that I will return to Israel and stay at Nof Ginosar for several days.

Our extended family of seven stayed at Nof Ginosar as our hotel to explore Lake Kinnneret and the Golan heights region. When we were there the hotel was catering to the tour busses of which there were several. Unfortunately the pool hours are limited so if you are exploring during the day you can't come back in the evening to take a dip in the pool although we did swim at the lake front in the evening. The rooms were clean and neat but if you are from the city beware the birds in the area start singing early in the morning. So if its location you are interested in and just need a place for dinner, sleep and breakfast - it works.
