If you are searching for the calm and peace moments visit this place,
Good spa and good service.
The area is full of flowers and trees
Nice view to the dead sea and to the mountains.
The spa has a salt pool, sauna and turkish hammam. I liked the place and the good massage.

Great stay, too bad it was for only one night. We stayed in a 2 room suite on a grassy courtyard, around the corner from the new onsite spa. The lodgings were clean, well-maintained, and well-appointed. We had dinner and breakfast onsite - both very good in terms of quality and quantity. The new spa with the Dead Sea pool was great, along with the sauna and Turkish bath. All in all, a great stay and we will definitely return there again.

Room Tip: Worth upgrading to luxury suites if available... try to get rooms close to new onsite spa.

Had this place cost one third of what we had to pay I would probably have written a much more favorable review. But as it is the place is very expensive and very disappointing.
It is a large rambling place much too crowded and rundown. There are hardly any signs to guide you to your room or to the spa and as for help from the stuff - forget it. Our room was newly refurbished, but everything was of the lowest quality you could get away with. Walls are paper thin and you get noise both from the outside and from adjoining rooms. Worst of all, the Hotel is in one of the most scenic spots in Israel but the rooms are totally cut off from the scenery. Internet is free but very unstable. The food is pure junk and the dining room ugly and unpleasant. There are some redeeming spots. The vegetation is nice and the new spa is not bad. But these are minor compensations. Being almost the only hotel for many miles, the members of Ein Gedi kibutz must have thought they have a hen laying golden eggs in their possession. A great pity.

We stayed in one of the luxury Arugot rooms, overlooking Wadi Arugot. the room was immaculate, the bathroom big enough to have a party.
the view from the balcony was fantastic from the mountains to the Ibax who roamed the hill in the morning.
we had Dinner & Breakfast at the dining room - where the huge quantity and selection of the buffet style dining reached the verge or ridicules.
the first rate spa in the resort is free for guests and includes warm salt pool, sauna, Turkish hammam , as well as heated outdoor pool, loungers etc..
we paid for treatments which were very good value for money.
the resort and its amazing botanical gardens which are all around you is highly recommended.

I have nothing negative to say after my stay at Ein Gedi Resort Hotel. I wish I could have stayed there longer. The atmosphere, location, food and service were top-notch. The rooms were fine. There's a spa in the resort and another down by the Dead Sea. There are lots of other amenities and attractions, and a lovely relaxing mood.

The new spa at the hotel is very nice and quiet. There is a great view to the dead sea.
everything is green in the kibotz.
We had a very relaxing swedish massage.
Clean facilities and friendly staff, perfect escape for a day excursion.

From the entrance to the rooms this was more like a kibbutz guest house than a hotel. The rooms were very basic. The worst thing was the cats strolling around everywhere. Also I had gone for a retreat to relax and all weekend there was a psychiatrist or neurologist conference and the whole entrance hall, the only public area to sit in, was taken over by their posters for medication!

Room Tip: Apparently there are some new rooms which are better
