I have enjoyed the leisurely atmosphere, sea breezes and view of the sunset, the sea and the ancient port of Caesarea a few times, when they featured my favorite music - jazz, including New Orleans Function (New Orleans style) and La Moustache (Django Gypsy Swing), on their outdoor stage. All seating is outdoors on low white cushioned wooden lounges, with wooden tables. There's a nice varied menu of simple food and - it is mainly a bar - a good selection of beer and alcoholic beverages. It's nevertheless friendly for children and there are juices and shakes and such. Of course, I was there for the music and the amplification isn't great, so, though the place is vast, if it's the music you're after, get up close to the bandstand. I get the impression that it's a good place for a snack if you're hanging out at the beach or wandering the ruins in the daytime too, but I haven't tried that.
