We arrived late and left fairly early from this lovely place (while on a tour). The dinner buffet was fabulous. The grounds were lovely and inviting. Nothing negative at all. Would certainly return and stay longer.

We're glad you had such a nice impression, travelwhere, even on such a short visit.
The extensive grounds of 60 acres, are indeed inviting, shame you didn't get to really enjoy them, hopefully on your return.
Looking forward to the next opportunity to welcome you,
best regards,
Avi Alon
General Manager

The most accommodating staff anywhere. True five star service.
Hotel is supposed to be redone...totally needs it.
The staff makes this hotel a pleasure.
Best food anywhere. You cannot find a better kosher meal for the holidays or Sabbath.

Visited 2 nights at a convention setting. Been there several times in the pat 25 years it still holds the good essential spirit of famous hospitality. Tranquility and old fashioned charm mixed with large green leafy surroundings. Breakfast, lunch and dinner varieties all qualitative, served at a nice well organized restaurant. Room was clean and renovated with maid available at the aftenoon if requested. Nice walking paved promenade outside the hotel in wealthy Caesarea. Overall they should upgrade the furniture as sofas, chairs and tables that dates to the 80ths.

Room Tip: ask for a sea view room

Recently spent 2 nights at this hotel. If you want to be close to the sights in Caesarea and enjoy a leisurely visit to Zichron Yaakov there aren't many options for hotels. The Dan hotel chain is one of the better chains in Israel with many luxury properties. This hotel however suffers from serious neglect in its upkeep and in the professionalism of some of the staff.
we were upgraded to one of their so called better rooms without me even being aware of it until checkout. The room was small, poorly designed, with inadequate air conditioning even for late October and with furnishings that I described to the manager upon check out as something that I would have thrown out from my own home 20 years ago.
The bathroom had mold, cracked tiles, stained marble countertops and mirrors that hadn't been cleaned for us. It also had a half shower type door instead of a full curtain for the tub area and so the floor got wet upon showering.
The glass panels/walls of the porch were filthy and the meager furniture in the room was paint splattered or melamine which was cracked, peeling and bloated.
The cost including tax and breakfast for their standard room was about $300 a night, for this deluxe garden view room it was about $400. I had no idea I was in their deluxe room, it was horrible.
Besides that, because the hotel wasn't very full they were offering dinner for about $50 a person in a small windowless room instead of the larger dining hall which at least wasn't claustrophobic. We decided to eat at one of the many restaurants in the area instead. There weren't many options at their tiny buffet and people were on line to be served.

Breakfast compared to other Israeli hotels I've been in was also sub standard.
The lobby of the hotel and the grounds were in good condition, but we didn't use any of their facilities and were away from the hotel most of the day.
Overall, the condition of the room, (I didn't even mention TV issues), including cleanliness, furnishings and cost make this hotel a poor choice.

Room Tip: Their sea view rooms are not sea view this hotel is not close to the sea and it's a 5 floor property
