The house is very modern and well appointed on a large complex about 5 minutes drive from Ceasarea old port. Most of the houses/appartments are privately owned and the resort was quiet as it is not high season yet. Caesarea is a very peaceful area. We were in Israel for the Maccabiah Games and needed to be close to Haifa (30 mins drive) and Tel aviv (40 mins drive).
There is a small shopping area 3 mins drive with a supermarket and 3 decent cafe/restaurants and an ice cream parlour. The port is a 5 minute drive and there are a number of excellent restaurants there as well as the amazing Roman ruins to visit. The beach is 7-8 mins drive which has the famous Roman aqueduct on it. Zichron Yaakov is 20 mins drive and is a beautiful town in the hills with a great choice of restaurants
Our Host, Elena was lovely and very helpful. The house itself is spacious with a microwave, washing machine/tumble dryer etc... It has a small garden which was pleasant to sit in, in the evenings
There are two pools which are covered and are not open between 1pm & 5pm although they are open all day on Shabbat (Fri/Sat). There are 2 well appointed Gyms but these are only open to residents and currently there is no way of obtaining guest passes as the 'house rules' have just changed. Elena is trying to see if this can be sorted out, so check first if use of a gym is important to you
Overall it was a lovely stay and we thank Elena for her hospitality
