Located right on the port in Acre, (Akko) , a northern Israeli city, which is mostly Arab by nature, this restaurant is owned by an known Israeli fisherman turned restaurateur called Uri.
(Hence the name: uri-buri, buri being a name if a fish..).
The restaurant is a gourmet experience that will not be forgotten easily, since, if you go for the ״ tasting menu"( they go through everything on the menu after questioning u about your personal taste) u will experience the first all-u-can-eat-gourmet-menu ever! U cannot explain it unless u have been there. And oh yes, once finished, take a stroll on the port and go into the nearby old market and the sites the old city has to offer. At least u know this way you have walked off your two hour meal ....:)

This is probably one of the best restaurants in the north of Israel. They specialize in seafood.
There's an option to have a sort of "tasting menu" which is recommended to share - you order a bunch of half sized dishes for lower price. Their seafood soup which is made on coconut milk is very special and tasty. but basically all their dishes are very good.

Not being knocked out but definitely recommendable. There is a choice of having a lot of small plates to taste different dishes of the restaurant.

This restaurant has great food - a little pricey I thought but my friend paid for dinner so it's all good. If you are in Akko, eat here, you will have no regrets. The restaurant is housed in this old building and they really kept the character of it inside with rustic walls. The ambience was just right - it can be romantic if you want it to and also it can be just casual. The staff were efficient and helpful in helping with the selections because the menu was amazing - I wanted to eat everything, and the option is there if you want to go with the tasting mystery menu where they bring you everything and you say stop when you're full. The food was a fusion with Israeli, European and Asian (Thai) flavours, which was welcome because one can only eat enough falafel in Israel. Again, do not miss this restaurant.
