I was afraid about some reviews and ready to be disappointed but on the opposite the beach was not so dirty and the water was pure, turquoise and perfect to refresh after sunbathe. The contrast between the white sand the water and the brown hills all around is stunning. Recommend to go have a drink at warung surfer !

Beach seems to be cleaned up since the last reviews! Views from the hills around are stunning, definitely worth the little climb. Roads towards here are very bumpy, we had a flat tire afterwards which cost us a lot of money as it's too far to walk to Kuta with a motorbike. Also, the annoying parking fee scam is 10.000. It's not much but it adds up if you drive around for a day...

Do not go there! After reading many blogs and trip advisor reviews we thought that the beach will be amazing. It is not! Plastic garbage everywhere and locals relentlessly try to sell more plastic to you! You have to pay the parking fee (it is only 10k but nonetheless) but nothing has been done with that money to improve the beach. And water is even worse ... Its impossible to swim because of all the garbage.

Yes, it is a place to explore while you are in Lombok island. Beautiful view from the top of the hill and if you can walk to the end of the edge you may find rather a hidden beach below the hill. But as the other said, this place needs to manage better, particularly to manage the seller that was quite annoying.
