I booked this hotel at the last minute as there's long weekend in s'pore and other hotels i preferred are fully booked for 3 nights. The room is very small. I mean really really small... the furnishing is quite old, the bed has some dusts and i got quite an itch after waking up. The door to the balcony is not properly sealed and we hear noises from outaide all the time. Breakfast ia not that good really needs variety. There were ants in the bread too.

I put my friend up at Swiss-BelHotel at the apartment when he visited in October. Having been here about 2 years ago, the apartment has little changes in terms of decor and furniture while the apartment public space had been refurbished just recently.

We went to take a look at the hotel rooms (just for comparison's sake) and it seem like they were not only refurbished, but also enlarged the rooms by combining a few rooms to one. The decor was a lot better than before, probably because of the hotel brand name that they took. The hotel serves daily breakfast.

Because the hotel is located on the hill side, most rooms if not facing the road, faces the sea (which is awesome!). Additionally, they have a gym room that faces the awesome sea view too! When the sky is clear, you can even see Singapore.

I paid Rp30,000 (without negotiation) to a Harbour Bay taxi cab to go from the hotel to Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal, which is about 5 minutes away.

Oh, did I also forget to mention that the hotel offers free shuttle bus to Kepri Mall (the newest mall) and Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal, so that will help you save quiet a bit of $$$!

only one thing room caring staff is not so good and the food only Italian food is available OTHERVISE VERY GOOD HOTEL BY ALL THE MEANS

The advertising of how great this 4 star hotel was everywhere. From the ferry in singapore down to a huge billboard located at the batam jetty. It has never come across to our mind that this hotel was so terrible. It was the worst hotel that we stayed in. Stayed there for 3 nights. The hotel is basically located in the middle of nowhere whereby you have to take a cab to go somewhere. The outlook of the hotel is quite alright. But once we stepped in to the hotel, everything got from ok to worse. The room that we stayed was horrible. It was small, the space between the tv and bed was less that 1 feet. I only have enough space for you to walk horizontally. The aircon is not working but when we called housekeeping is told that the aircon needs to be warmed up and need to wait about 15mins before starts cooling. Strange noise also came from the aircon from time to time. Windows between the rooms are way too near. You can even shake hands with the person staying next room. The bed was dusty, there was even stains on the bedsheet. Pillows were so old that you can feel lumps in there, Towels were provided but is greyish in colour. There were lots of hairs in the toilet. The toilet bowl create sounds when we sat on it so when we checked it out, it moved. The flush seems to flush on its own with an interval period of about 20 minutes. Breakfast was horrible. We went down for breakfast at 8am and everything was gone. We did ask them to replinish but was told that they run out of stock from bread to coffee. Will never stayed in this hotel again or never trust the advertistment as it is often misleading.

Not recommended for those going for short term holidays. Less Facilities, no beach towel, no pool bar. It shouldnt be called as hotel at the first place. It is just a serviced apartment with a 3 star service. Went for breakfast at 9am, breakfast has finished. Did not replenish all of them,only 2 or three dishes. It is on Sat, should prepared more. Did not arranged for us table of 8. We have to do it ourselves. POOR SERVICE!!!
