From the first time I ate at a Fish & Co. I fell in love with their fish and chips. The fish is perfectly cooked: light crunchy golden brown exterior, moist and flaky interior. The fries aren't spectacular, but they're quite good.
The only problem is the pricing and gimmicks. It is quite pricey at 80k++ for fish and chips but the fish is huuuuge! At Sutos restaurants are mandated to offer lunch discounts. Fish & Co. honors it with the condition that you buy a drink, overpriced soda at 25k per person, free refills. I don't mind, really. 65k++ is perfect for a meal of this quality. However, since a few months ago they changed the policy, requiring a minimum purchase for the discount. Now I can no longer enjoy lunch alone or with a friend at Fish & Co. at that price. I have to bring a group of people with me. I stopped going there solely for this reason.
The other gimmick is their combo meal. They advertise free salad and a drink with your fish and chips for the same price! They don't mention that you only get HALF a fish. Totally not worth it. I'd rather purchase the standalone fish and chips.
As the problems are solely from executive decisions, I will not hold it against the restaurant experience. The fish and chips truly are delicious. A great occasional treat for fish-lovers out there.
