If you're looking for a dining/coffee place, this is the right place. If you want to shop, this is not the right place. There are more restaurants than retail shops. There's a supermarket, a bakery, and on the upper floor, there's a couple of boutiques.

During our recent trip to Surabaya, we'd stayed at Ciliwung Road, a mere 15 minute walk to the mall. So, after a good rest upon returning from a long, somewhat tiring but totally exciting trip to Mt. Bromo, we, being the typical city folks that we are, decided to go to the mall for a bite & to chill!

For a bite & to chill, this mall is perfect for both actually. It's a very urban mall with all the stuff that typical city folks are accustomed to. Lots of food & coffee places to choose from, ambience in all the outlets are great.. very laid back, enabling you to enjoy your meal, chill & people watch! A decent number of retail outlets of both local & international brands & a supermarket, which we found very useful to stock up on snacks & drinks for our long journey the next day. There's also a cinema, a (well utilised) gym, a pharmacy, a nice interior decor shop, a jazz club & when we were there, there were 3 on 3 basketball games going on.

If I were a local I can understand coming here to hang out, but as a visitor to Surabaya, I may have not made my way here if I weren't staying so close by. Still, if you are in this city & crave a familiar city atmosphere, this would probably a good place to drop by.

I fall in love with this Town Center as soon as I entered the entrance, why not?The design concept is well prepared, it has a dynamic, more urban and modern approach, and even, much more wider than “similar Town Center” in South Jakarta.
The strong point of this Town Center is the big entertainment open stage that has a more wider space dimention, and has air cooled system that the heat of Surabaya’s climate blown extensively by air cooler.
Visitors can pick out their favourite food by a wide range of cafés/ restaurants selection, but for Surabaya’s authentic taste, we can get only from one local food center called D’Kampoeng which was designed with ethnic/ village interior element. You will feel like sitting in the middle of traditional market somewhere in Java island, with its dim lighting and “kampong furnitures” , this open food center is trying to attract tourist (both local and expatriate) through an East-Java culinary feast.
The ordering system is by “ala carte” , you’ll be given a card that will be stamp everytime you request food/ drink from the kiosk, and the final total charge will be paid at the cashier prior to leave the restaurant. Do not tricked by the display of the various kiosk that offering mouth watering food/ drink to be purchased, you will get hometo the hotel suffer caused by overeat.
Sutos provide also a small percentage of areas for shopping, in the form of petite boutique that mostly leased by small scale vendor. But to my taste, these spaces seems a bit shabby, needed to be highlighted to a more urban interior treatment.

SUTOS (or Surabaya Town Square) is a restaurant mall rather tha a shopping mall. Lots of selection of restaurants, Malaysian, Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, English (Fish & Chips), pubs, coffee shops (including Starbucks, Kopi Luwak), a live music club (Foreplay), etc. There is a large supermarket as well as a cinema, and a health gym.

During the weekends, there are usually some sort of live performance in the main courtyard, and also some sort of promotions (e.g. cars, bikes).

Nice place, good for hang out with girl friends for afternoon tea, dinner as a couple or drink at nite with friends. No matter alone or with friends, you can find the place you need the food you want. One supermarket located inside so you can purchase something after dinning. At weekend, always a lot of big motobikes park there, cool! Good place in Surabaya
