Don't be mislead by the name. This guest house is as good as any 4 stars hotel. The room is spacious, comfortable and the overall design is nicely done that it feels like a boutique hotel rather than a budget guest house with free wifi connections. We decided to spend two nights here on our way to Mount Bromo after reading the feedbacks in Tripadvisor forum. We made the right decision as the hotel offered not only great location but clean and comfortable room. It was close to a shopping mall and a great kampung grilled chicken restaurant. The staff were super friendly. They assisted us in changing our monies even as well as arranging for transportation to Mount Bromo. To our surprise the price quoted was much cheaper than elsewhere and our driver was not only reliable but very patient. In hindsight, we felt that eventhough we had to get up early to get to Mount Bromo from Malang, the pleasant stay that we enjoyed here was worthwhile than having to deal with the madness and lack of decent accomodations at Cemoro Lawang/Probolinngo. The only room for improvement if I may suggest to Kertanegara is to offer wider selections for their breakfast.

Room was BIG and very clean. The staff was the Best. Very good Breakfast. Close to the Mall walking Distance........... Night clubs bars .Many good food placesnnear by........ I would stay here again.......

I go to malang with my boyfriend an searching for hotel and found this guest house. The room is wasn't my prediction, i though we will get a small room with twin bed. But my room is big enough, clean and comfy..
we only booking for 1 day and want to extend for 1 day more, but no room is available and we must check out with a dispointed feelings because we are very comfort with this room
