for the umpteenth time back at the hotel, a relaxed, quiet suitable for families. miraculous times always the same service here is friendly and skilled. entered the room looks clean and comfortable rooms, spacious for deluxe type. close to the center of the most important food and if you want to shopping , "Rumah Mode Factory Oulet " is the best place.

(+) Simple hotel with warm décor and interior
(+) The bed, the pillows are extremely comfortable
(+) The room are very spacious, clean with lots of storage
(+) The bathroom is nice and clean
(+) Placed right in front of Rumah Mode (the hippest Factory Outlet in Bandung)
(+) The breakfast is yum!
(+) Staffs hospitality and honesty deserves all praise in the world, we left our DSLR camera before we fly back home, God is amazing, they keep our camera safe and our camera is safely back to us.

(-) Since it’s placed in front of Rumah Mode, the traffic just to reach the hotel is quite crazy, so bare yourself.
(-) The swimming pool is tiny, hoping they could upgrade it.

Overall I want to stay in Asmila Boutique Hotel again, their bed is to drool for! 

Room Tip: Ask for the front officer for a promo rate, you might get a good deal :)

We attended the Asmila Boutique Hotel in Bandung mid way through April 2013…..so glad we dropped by as it is full of surprises!
The Hotel has a special position in Bandung…..right opposite the Asmila are 3 factory outlets including the well known Rumah Mode….and there’s also the Sobbers Night Club..I know that’s a strange name for a Night Club, but it is said to be very popular in Bandung. The factory outlets and the night club are literally just across the road from the Asmila Hotel….the Hotel parking man usually will guide guests across the road safely….so no need for a taxi or hire car…..visitors can walk to the Factory Outlets, do their shopping and bring the haul back to the Asmila Hotel.
And there’s more about the Asmila location…….by car the centre of Bandung is an easy half hour away and in the other direction is the mountain town of Lembang and the Tangkuban Perahu Volcano….45 minutes to an hour away!
Just down the road and walkable is the Setiabudi Supermarket and in the other direction is a bank with ATM.
We did not stay at the Asmila as we live in Bandung….but we had a look around guided by the General Manager Mr Benny Adrian…..the rooms are spacious…there’s only 36 rooms in the Asmila and they are generally larger than some of the big Hotels of Bandung…the Asmila is more like an exclusive club than a boutique hotel!
There’s a business centre and even a small swimming pool….and the interior design is so appealing to the eyes….”built in comfort” at every angle!
Our main purpose was to try out the Asmila Dining Room which not only caters for those staying at the hotel but people like ourselves “Walk In Guests”. The Asmila Dining room is open 24 hours a day.
The food looked good on serving and the taste was “Lekker”….in other words Scrumptious! I photographed some of the dishes…there was the Asmila Nasi Goreng Speciall….a fried rice with tasty sate and the most crunchy fried chicken….”move over Colonel Sanders”. And Chicken and Cheese with potato wedges and a delightful sauce….and another dish worth mention is the Sop Buntut which is an Indonesian OxTail Soup and that soup is so delicious “I’ll be back for more of that”.
The GM of the Asmila Benny Adrian told us the Chef has just taken up residence and is very experienced with Indonesian and Western Dishes.
I could not help notice the Hotel has on display a price list for their own hire cars, rates are reasonable and there are special prices for accommodation with weekend rates slightly higher than week days….but all less than 100 USD per night……The suites may be higher during peak and holiday times.

Room Tip: sound proofing is excellent at the Asmila...busy road outside and inside it is quiet!

I took break last week and took off to Bandung and Jakarta. In Bandung, I decided to try Asmila Boutique hotel. I was very surprised that the lobby was very impressive.. well appointed and it was a sit down check in. The Front office staff was very friendly and helpful and check in was very quick.
The rooms were well appointed and a nice size bathroom. complimentary WIFI throughout the hotel. The beds were comfortable and large. Whilst, I found that the airconditioning in the room works but not very cold even though, the hotel had set it low but good enough.

Breakfast selection was limited and you have to ask the waiter/waitress for your fried eggs. Service at the restaurant was great. The hotel does need to improve on the breakfast.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. You can't get better in Bandung, its just walking distance to shopping, dinning and spa. Its right across the street to Rumah Mode which is rated to be the best factory outlet shopping in Bandung plus 3 other outlets located near by. A good supermarket is about 100meters away.

The housekeeping and the staff in this hotel are very helpful even when trying to cross the street for shopping as its a real challenge to cross the street.

Great hotel with great location.. will be back

Stayed for 3 nites - over a weekend.

Location cannot be faulted. Plentiful restaurants, retail outlets and massage within walking distance.

The hotel coffee house - the coffee tasted different on 3 morning - first day very good - second day was terrible and the third day - so-so.

Portions were small - probably because there were only 4 or 5 tables occupied during breakfast.

Wifi connections was like the coffee - 2 days bad - 1 day good.

Take care when you are walking out or back to the hotel at night as the security strings a steel wire across the entrance.

We had 2 rooms - both road facing on the fourth floor. If you are staying over a weekend - avoid rooms facing the road as the club's music across were pounding until 4am. So choose a room at the rear block.

Room Tip: Choose rooms at the rear block
