“Truly overpriced”
Reviewed July 1, 2014

This place has lot of vegetrian options but is highly overpriced for the quality and quantity of food.
Bruchetta does have tomatoes and herbs and when we ordered it came with just melted cheese which was totally bland in taste.

“italian recipe”
Reviewed January 2, 2014

if you looking for an italian food with the original taste this place is the right place to go. if you have complain about the food, you can speak to the owner right away bcoz he is there, specially night hour dinner time.

the good thing about this place is "vegetarian" friendly. for i believe it's not easy for a vegetarian to find the right resto to go.

the view is nice, but need a little time to reach there specially if you are in rancaekek or metro-soekarno hatta LOL.

anyway...this one recomended for italian food lovers and vegetarian who dare to try any kind of food under the sun.

its also recomended for small birthday party.

“Rubbish "pizza"”
Reviewed November 18, 2013

I made the mistake of ordering a pizza here. The "salame picante" wasn't worthy of being called a pizza. Super-thin pastry with a nondescript tomato sauce and cheese, with exactly 8 super-thin slices of beef sausage. None of the other ingredients advertised. Save your money and go to pizza express in the same mall downstairs. This restaurant is way out of its depth with even the simplest dishes. For example I asked for garlic bread and the waiter said they didn't have it - he showed me the menu entry 'bruschetta alle oglio' which turned out to be, yes, exactly what it said (garlic bread). Very disappointed with this place. Had to go to burger king downstairs after the hobbit-sized blandly incompetent fare.

“Good Pasta, Good Place, Good Price”
Reviewed November 9, 2013 via mobile

This is our second time visiting Fashion Pasta, we came back for the appetizing spaghetti aglio olio and carbonara. The price is reasonable, not that cheap nor expensive. The place is really romantic and the ambience is really great. The last time we came, we were greeted by Andrea, the restaurant owner, who was very friendly and approachable. Fashion Pasta is a must-try if you happen to be in Bandung!

“Underwhelming and overpriced.”
Reviewed July 21, 2013

I had high expectations of Fashion Pasta based on the reviews here on TripAdvisor. What was supposed to be a special birthday dinner left me disappointed and IDR 800,000 poorer - by far the most I have spent on a meal for two in Indonesia.

Pros: romantic garden setting, nice views, bruschetta (not great by any standard, but passable).

Cons: not authentic Italian food, small portions, overpriced.

If you've had authentic Italian food before, go past Fashion Pasta. There was no sign of the supposed Italian owner and chef as other reviews have stated, and the food reflected this. As someone who's had Italian food all over the world (Italy, Australia, Japan, America) the ingredients and flavours presented here are simply not in the same league. The truffle pasta was extremely small and lacked real truffle flavour, what was promised to be Italian 'proscuitto' resembled (and tasted like) Spam, and the panna cotta tasted so strongly of UHT milk to the point of being inedible.

If you're in Bandung and want a good meal, look elsewhere - there's lots to choose from! If you're travelling in Indonesia and you're craving good Italian food try MadeInItaly in Flores, or PEPeNERO in Jakarta and Bali.
