I stayed 4 nights at orange home shariah bandung. This place should be considered if you plan to save your cost. With only MYR84 per day it serve very nice breakfast. The room is just nice to stay but a lot of improvement has to be done such as water heater, room design looks old design and some of tv channel has to be improved. If you plan to travel with family with more than 3members, I suggest you to take bigger room. The location is not so good as you have to walk more than 300m just to get angkotan.however if you have extra money you just ask hotel to call taxi. Just bear in mind the taxi charges is ten times more than angkotan. The service is quite nice and friendly staff. However, the only thing I dislike is their laundry services. They charge me higher than normal charges.i am totally not happy with it.

Place was clean but service was really bad. Condition of room - clean, mattress - old, pillows - old, my arms feels better to rest on, toilet - clean but would not flush & water keep flowing back in, toilet door not working, tv was placed too high up close to the ceiling - so it was neck pain all the way while watching tv. I had to keep myself occupied since the nights were too cold to sleep on plus they do not have extra blankets to offer, even after you beg them. Location - too far from the town or any attraction - make you spend too much time wasted waiting for cab on call & too much money wasted. Overall, i had a bad experience with the hotel and truly unnecessary stress for me.

Room Tip: Find a hotel that will provide you what you need for your trip. If you are looking to be far away from the town and not to have good service, this would be the place.

We arrived in Bandung slightly later than scheduled..typical from Air Asia flight being delays. Upon arriving at the front desk, the receptionist was very impolite. No greeting or even a salam. That is so weird for me since Bandung people is known for their hospitality and some more this is a "Syariah" hotel. We continue the process of checking in. The bell boy was friendly to take our begs to our room. Room was clean & so was the toilet....in a glance. Poop keeps on popping out every few hours. It wasn't ours that's for sure since we have only checked in. Toilet door knob doesn't work. The mattress is super uncomfortable. Its old and springy. The hotel is quite deep inside from the main road and it takes bout 45 minutes for a silver bird (the reliable cab service) to arrive every single time.
We stayed 4D3N there and on our 2nd night it was freezing cold. The blankets were so thin, it was practically like a shower towel. i called reception begging...not asking but begging him to allow me to borrow a blanket. His excuse was he is not allowed into the housekeeping room. So the continues begging him if he could open the other vacant room (plenty of vacant rooms that night) and he said he is not allowed to do so. He ended by telling us ....basically go figure it yourself in bahasa bandung.
On our day of checking out, we spoke to the reception and he was kind enough to be apologizing for the night shift reception.
For transportation, you need to call a cab or have your own Supir.
So hotel clean but far from the city. Staff nice but not all. You can find other cheap hotel with good service elsewhere.Worth every penny...i dont think so. Definitely will not go again.

We arrive in Bandung quite late, I wasn't that well as we had a very rough flight. As we were checking in, the receptionist wasn't friendly at all. He did not greet us properly and we got all negative answers from him. Our driver wasn't there and we wanted to use the phone and offer to pay any amount for that call but he was very unhelpful and said no he can't help us.
Staying there is like staying in a hostel, gates close at 11ish at night. So thats fine. After the 2nd night it was pouring cats and dogs and it was freaking cold, we called for extra blanket, but the receptionist said he can't helped us at all and even ask us to figure out ourselves, quite rude.
Overall the rooms are clean, but the toilet r horrible, poops kept popping up in the morning. The door knobs has not function, you can't locked the door.
The last day we express our thoughts on the hospitality and how uncomfortable our experience to this another guy, he was kind enough to listen and say sorry, which the other personnel didn't manage.

Booked quad room for 3 days which is suitable for my family of 5. 1 queen size bed for me and wife and another for the kids. Spacious, clean and cozy and most important, its located in a quiet neighbourhood. All that I need after daily routine of venturing around Bandung City (shopping of course). Maybe it is quite far from main road, but transportation were never an issue as friendly staff manning the counter is always there to assist. Breakfast maybe lacked of choices but they served delicious one to satisfy you. Overall, its worth every penny spend.

Room Tip: For big family, book a quad room as its just above the lobby and you will appreciate the space and view
