“Budget Stay”

Economy place to stay for a family but quite far with dark alley and 15 min from main road for a family of five to walk and get a taxi. The road is all with pots holes and muddy when it rains.Breakfast is same daily which you will have toast jam and butter, fried rice and fried egg.
The hotel caters mostly for Muslim guests. Its just a place to sleep nothing more you can do than that.Paid IDR 450K for a room with 2 king size beds and a car for IDR for 350K for 12 hours all inclusive, really I mean all except for tourist entrance.

Room Tip: No alcohol allowed, room 16 to 28 is in a better hotel block

Though the entrance to the hotel was like "under construction road" but once you enter the place, it just can make you smile. So relaxing with a big fish-pond in the middle and clean environment. Friendly staffs. The room is clean but don't expect a big shower room. Behind the hotel is a Futsal courts, so maybe it is not suitable for honeymoon couples.

Overall, me and my family are super duper satisfies. Will come again for a second time trip.

Pluses: pretty cheap, A/C, hot water, international channel, really suitable for backpackers, or group of people, have rooms for a family (up to 6 people)
Minuses: no wi-fi, far from the city central, the TV is too small, our room have many big ants, the breakfast is really basic.

Currently staying here till 18 April. The twin rooms are not that spacious, bathroom is small but okay. Some have washbasins and some don't. The rooms, bathroom and walkway are exceptionally clean. Drinking water is provided, free internet and wifi too. Typing review from my mobile. Ordered pizza delivary thru reception, Only thing is the distance from city center. Nearest shopping center is about 800m. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Would not hestitate to stay here again. For about USD25/day, its real value.

I have no problem with the service from this Hotel. For me they serve me good enough.
For the room.. As i am travelling own my own, the room should be no problem for me. Yes the room a bit small yet comfortable for a person or couple. You need to walk down to the main road to get a transportation or just call the front desk for taxi service. The hotel is suitable for those who just seek to stay and a place to take a rest. Not suitable for those who want a good view... beautiful view... with swimming pools and gym or such. I am very disappointed with breakfast though. For my first day the food finished.. I go for my breakfast at 8 and the food is finish.. and there were really no choice for the food. But overall i'm quiet satisfied with the service and the environment.

Room Tip: any room will not disappointed you

Orange Home’s Hotel is a bit hard to find- if we hadn't taken a taxi from the bus station (40,000 rupiah), we would have worried that we weren't on the right street, but it really is only a 15 minute walk from the station (10 minutes on the main street, then 5 minutes through the neighborhood) The hotel is nice, koi pond in the middle. We had a corner room on the 3rd floor, with lots of windows and a small balcony. We are used to the typical S.E asia bathroom (no separate shower area) , but this bathroom didn't even have a sink- just a shower head, a faucet, and a toilet. We are also finding that hotels in Indonesia don't have top sheets on the bed- and I wonder if the blankets on the bed are washed between guests. Although they advertise wifi, there is no wifi in the room, and I was unable to get reception in the dining room. They did let me use their office computer to book our next hotel. Breakfast was noodles, rice, chicken, toast and instant coffee. Sleep was difficult due to the Islamic call to prayer and the roosters.
A 15 minute walk brings you to the best food court we’ve found in our travels- top floor of The Fashion Mall.

I enjoyed my stay at Orange Homes. The rooms were clean and tidy, air-conditioned, there is hot-shower and there is ASTRO TV (satelite TV). They have Wi-Fi in the common room. There is no phone in the rooms but they have a phone to contact reception on each floor. They provide free airport pickup and delivery which is GREAT! They can also provide car with driver at reasonable rates. The room rate also includes breakfast. All staff there are extremely friendly.Only thing which is a disadvantage is that they do not accept credit card.
