Marbella Suites Bandung
Ranked #97 of 230 Hotels in Bandung

I'm actually staying at the Marbella Suites right now with some friends. My friend booked a room at this condotel through her acquintance and we just had to pick up the keys at the reception. When we got here earlier, we were shocked when the reception told us that somebody took the room keys already. It's even more shocking because both parties have already paid the room! It's messed up because the acquintance (named Ms. Lina) mixed up the booking. We ended up having a dramatic quarrel with the other guest and even tho we got another room for stay, it is disappointing because Ms. Lina didn't settle the problem with both parties.

The room is nice tho. But you need to rent a car to reach this area cuz taxi might be a little hard to find. Upscale and chic restaurants and cafe are scattered accross this area so eating out is never a hassle.

When I staid in barbella Bandung suites I had Hugh expectations because of the price and as its all said to be suite rooms. I took the best room available and it costed me $220 a night and oddly enough the best rooms are located in the ground floor. The room was dim even though if its in the morning with all lights on and felt more like an apartment. The exterior of the hotel looked like a standard apartment block. I would personally recommend the cheaper rooms as it is the same size with the same fascilities( 2 bed rooms with 2 bathrooms in it) and it is located in the higher floors so you would have a better view. Over all I would never comeback as its over priced and location is very inconvenient and the roads are bad and small.

Very nice hotel. Sit in a quiet and higher ground in North of Bandung. Good service, good facilities. Great hotel for the whole family.

Room: Nice. Apartment-like room with small living room and pantry. Though the room is not spacious for family.

Bathroom: quite small, yet with tub and hot shower.
Good view from its tower.

Cleanliness: Good.
Facilities: good. Swimming pool is very nice and big. Jacuzzi.

Breakfast & Dinner: average. The foods were okay, although not too many choices.

The staffs were friendly and kind. Nice airy lobby.

Outdoor parking space, which is sad for your car to be exposed under the sun or rain. No shady spot at all. If you stay longer, be sure to cover your car.

I don't know what's wrong with hotels in Bandung. I always think that they're overpriced, they set a high price for "scenery" but the services often neglected. Marbella Suites is also one of it.

We had two room, the deluxe suite for my husband and I, and the executive suite for my parents and brother. Both were fine in term of cleanliness, but I still felt it was a bit cramped since I used to stay at Aston Marina Jakarta. Marbella provides microwave to reheat foods, but they don't provide any cutlery.

The best feature of this hotel would be its whirlpool in warm water. The foods is a standard, and downright not delicious for its traditional menu. I still prefer to go outside to enjoy the yumminess of Bandung delicacies.

This hotel calls itself a five star, perhaps they should review their facilities and make some changes. The staff and service is great, but the place is in dire need of renovation and maintenance. I was in deluxe room on 10th floor, the balcony floor had water coming from a drain, and the ac units were a sore sight and took up room on the balcony. The view was great and the surrounding area nice, but to get to the hotel it is a different story. The road is worn out and needs repair.

Room Tip: Choose room wisely, may be take a look first when at the hotel before settling. It is not a five st...

We stayed in 2 bedrooms apartment for one night. Rooms are okay, has small pantry, wastafel and microwave. Bathrooms : one shower and one bathtub.
Breakfast menu has variety; my fave is the black glutinous rice with coconut milk.

Room Tip: Opt for room with swimming pool view. Special discount for Citibank card holders.

We booked a family suite room in a new year 2012 / 2013 package which comes with New Year eve dinner.

The suite comes with 1 main bedroom with a king bed and attached bath room, 2 single bedroom (Fits one person only), one shared bathroom, a kitchen, dining table for 4 person, two living area and flat TV. not very spacious for a 'family hotel suite', it looks more like standard apartement layout.

I'm rather a clean-freak guy when it comes to a hotel room, especially its bathroom and this marbella suite is rather dissapointing. Visible small stains are all over the place such as wall, dining table, couch and the bathroom is worse, the floor feel moldy, stains, and its yellowish lighting create dirty impression even worst. Bathroom is definitely require massive cleaning (yet it is a rather new hotel)

What worst is actually a bad odor coming from kitchen which i believe is originated from their sink pipe which get air-dryed when not being used for several days. You'll never get used to with the smell! and there is nothing they can do about it.

provided toiletries are very basic and low quality.

The hotel fail to pay attention into details, they provide a water boiler jar, but the wall plug cant be found anywhere nearby!

Location of the hotel is far off anything else. Nothing interesting is within walking distance, its about 20 minute drives to city.

not recommended
