Great location. Restaurants are neighbor on Jalan Sumatra which you can imagine, smart visitor will only come to the crowded ones.
If you want to have Indonesian Dutch feel , go to this place. Try they Banana Profitjes.
The interior is classic dutch. The Restaurant itself is one of Bandung Heritage buildings.
They have a few small private rooms.
If you concern in getting service attention, then pick the table near Cake shop area.

Not bad, food is OK but service is soooo slow, staff seems to be drowsy. Avoid going there on weekends where it's packed, be prepared for long wait.

We have been to this restaurant for many times.I, personally as an antique collector, found this place very interesting.

Using an almost original old Indisch colonial architecture house and many antique ornaments, decoration, furniture and equipment are a haven for the antique lover. They gathered many antique that was used long time ago during the colonial time in Indonesia and put them as decorations.Nice.Although some of the details are not quite correct, come from the different era and theme.

The food..they tried to offers the tempo doeloe Hollandsche food. as original as possible. It's nice, although some of the food maybe doesn't represent the original old time food.

The choices of the food are quite limited. some of them are mixture between the old and modern cuisine.Mostly the food are tasty. But sometimes waiting time since the food ordered until served took too long.

The service..the heartfelt hospitality of the staff seems to heavy for them. The politeness, the sincerely and the offering hands from the staff needs a lot of improving. They seem to work in boredom and sometimes they lean their body to the wall while having conversation with each other.

But that didn't really matter. The quite matter is the price of the food that I felt to much costly. You could spend for two persons as much as you spend for four person in this same place with the same quality food.

Nevertherless this place is quite worth visiting considering their heavy collection of antiquities.

Indischetafel has not yet delivered on its potential, but it is already doing well in the atmosphere department. Bandung's rapid modernization is threatening to rob it of much of its character as an attractive colonial-era city. Freeways pass over streets of historic villas and 1930s art-deco houses are gutted every other week to turn them into yet another discount shopping outlet. It is pleasing then that Indischetafel has preserved the old time charm of an early 20th century Dutch villa, restoring it tastefully to its former glory. There is period furniture in the rooms, complete with silver service, if you wish. But for the casual visitor, the front porch makes a pleasant place just to sit and have a coffee, soaking up the 'charm'. Unfortunately, the service was ponderously slow and we visited at a time when there were few other customers there. We hope this business invests as much time in improving its slow service and middling juice as it has in restoring the building.
