As previously reviewed by others, that this hotel is trying to be grand but not just quite there yet. Booked the king room for 2 nights and when we checked in they couldnt find our booking through agoda even though we've booked it 3 weeks in advance. Had to wait for 30 mins for receptions and their booking office to sort things out, although we were given our welcome drings while waiting.
Glad that we booked the king room though, cause when we saw the standard room it was very small. King room have enough space and a good size balcony to enjoy the view of setiabudi and bandung area. The room would be much better if it had a bathtub, although we knew that when we booked the room. Another good thing about the room is that the bed is very comfortable. The minus' with the room is that it doesnt have an information book that usually provided in all hotels as we weren't really sure what the hotel provides and locations of restaurants, gym, spa etc and the opening/closing times. We also found that the room is rather dirty and hasn't been dusted well and also that it takes a while for the aircon to get cool, also there's a bar fridge in the room with nothing in it, so i guess they must've forgot to refill the minibar.
The only reason why we chose this hotel is because of the building itself and it does make good photos. Dinner at the rooftop restaurant was good as the location was great but was a bit over priced for the quality of the food, although breakfast was great. This hotel is also very close if you want to visit lembang area where sapulidi and kampoeng daun restaurants are at, also there's kampung gaja in that area where it's a recreational area for families.
The hotel should provide a hotel car/taxi (wouldnt mind paying extra) for those guests who do not have own transportation, as waiting for a taxi could take between 30 to 45 mins as it need to be ordered by phone.

Room Tip: rooms facing the pool/reception area do have good view of the hotel's building.

I stay overnight with my wife and 2 kids.
The design is great but some parts of the hotel need to get some attention. Like the unused pool bar and room air con. I wasn't sure if the pool bar was under maintenance, but it was simply covered with woodply which made it look shabby. About the air con, it was too small to fit with the room size (i stayed in king room) so it took quite some time to get the desired temp.
And it was not comfortable enough since a wedding party was held during my stay. The noise and the crowd were disturbing though not annoying.
The best thing about this hotel was the architecture and nothing more. I took the whole afternoon in taking lots of photo and somehow i just couldn't get enough. Always found something new in some other part of the hotel.
And talk about food, the restaurant in the roof top was awesome. Fresh breeze and tasty menu made it all a perfect combination.

I loved how they did with the building architecture, however i am going to comment on that, since a lot of people can already seen from the pictures.

I booked the double room from internet travel agent, and when i was about to check in the standard room for double bed was not available. So i was upgraded to their deluxe queen, which i found very spacious compare to the standard room that i saw when i was walking towards my room.
The space was around 45m2. Too bad there was no bathroom, which would have been perfect for relaxing after a long drive.
I had to walk very far from the lift to my room which was on the other side of the building, so if you could request a room near the lift, it would be great.
Too bad for the room ammenities was still below expectation, like no hairdryer, and bathrobe.

The hotel promotion was quite interesting, during dinner time, one of the staff send some dinner voucher at the fat dragon resto, so a lot of people really spent their dinner there somehow.

The pool was quite big, although the water was a little bit cold, and the locker room by the pool was in fully occupied, its a shame though, because i noticed not a lot of people were swimming. Yet the locker was booked by the guest who want to go swimming in the next day.

Maybe you could add up some locker in the pool.

Guests were given a welcome drink voucher in the lobby and a " Hi-Tea" voucher in the 5th floor which was nice for a "view test" on the roof top. It was amazing during dinner time. Guest can use the voucher from 15:00 - 16:30 .

Too bad i didnt have the time to enjoy the Bellvue resto, which i believed also could offer a very romantic dinner with a very spectacular view.

They served breakfast at the 5th floor, it offer quite wide selection.
I loved the food there.

One flaw, they sent some cakes to my room which i didnt order, first i thought it was compliment, yet at check out, it was in the billed, since the cake was delicious and not too expensive, so i wouldnt fuss about it.

Room Tip: Please request room not very far from the lift

Looks like this hotel tries so hard to be grand, but failed. The hotel is said to be a 5 star hotel, but I would say that this hotel only worth 3 or 4 star rating.

Standard room is very small and the wallpaper is peeling. Bathroom is standard, and the strange window (or door?) in the bathroom looking outside served no purpose at all - if not dangerous. There are no proper directory in the room, I didn't know which extension number is the reception and no menu for room service.

Breakfast is too simple for a 5 star hotel. The furniture in the restaurant looks cheap, I got the impression that the owner didn't have enough money to fund a proper finishing on the hotel.

On the positive note, the staff are friendly and the bed is quite comfy. That's all.
