This is the best resort I have ever stayed. New resort, private, staff are friendly and helpful. Very relaxing place as surrounded by padi fields, tea garden and mountain view. Fantastic designed. Enjoyed swimming in the open air pool and soaking in the hot spring. Cooling at night. Food not bad.

Dream comes true. Many Indonesian loves Puncak areas where we expected the tranquility, serenity and view comes together. But these day are not any more. This Tea Garden Resort (TGR) is the substitue of Puncak in order to find transquility, oxygen, and tea plantation view. Brew your own tea, enjoy it while you watching the farmers harvesting the padi.

The decent size pools provided hot water (not natural) and cold water at seperated pool.

Breakfast and dinner also magnificent. Breakfast served with "kue kue jajanan pasar". These were local cakes that you hardly find even in Jakarta. Dinner were served very "up close and personal". The chefs and teams were serving at open kitchen preparing the dishes. Isnt it stunning?

You may choose the 70m. 80m or 100 m square villas to fit yours aand the view you want to have. We got the corner with the rice field and tea plantation view.

The staff are very friendly and helpful with Sundanese's charming. One famous expat catholic priest told me that God created Parahyangan ( Bandung and its surrounding ) when He was smiling so that He created so beatiful Parahyangan with stunning view and beautiful charming people. And it is proven here.

The pitfals are:

1) The villas it self. The style is minimalis with full all glasses. It create "green house effect" at day time. Hot inside the room. No window except the glass door. The management perhaps need to add fan ceilling or the replace the glass with "plantation shutter", more beautiful and allow the breeze.

2) Provide kids need such as playing areas close to the pool to avoid the noise. Also provide the cod to any families who carry the baby.

3) Give the right "road direction". Most of local has no sense of time, measurement and direction.. When they travelling they will say "two hours from Jakarta" or "two hours from toll road" no further expalnation on metric.

Many self driving hotel got diffculty to find the hotel and has to call to get direction from the receptionist.

Please prepare the drawing with the right measurement.

I suggest anybody to visit use Cipularang then from Bandung straight to Lembang. Pass Tanguban Perahu gate, find the Gotong Royong statue to take small kampong road to enter plantation is the easiest way reach this property compare to use the Purwakarta/Subang.

Overall , we love the stay. For us, it is my childhood dream come true, to stay in the middle of tea plantation. The pool and the good vilas are the bonus.

Love to comeback.

Green Green Green, What a beautiful resort hotel @ Bandung! Surrounded by huge tea plantation and beautiful rice terrace. At the Tea Garden Resort Bandung, mornings begin with the melody of birds. Comfortable 2 bed room villa and very friendly stuff with remarkable services. I loved modern restaurant and delicious local foods which called "Nasi Bakar". Specially thanks for Ning, Tety, Jepi and all of staff. We definitely coming back soon.

We walk around the tea plantation, lazy on the hammock, listen to the birds chirping while absorbing the beautiful lush green plantation surround us. This was totally relaxing and recharging for me and my husband. My son, age 6 had fun chasing after dragonfly, snapping picture of rabbit, cow, buffalo, butterfly, beetle, horse, goat and etc.
Here’s some things we did:-
Walk up to the top of the tea plantation to get a 360 view of the area
We tried a variety of local "kueh" for breakfast with the local tea.
We went to a nearby waterfall to soak our feet in the cool fresh water.
We went shopping at "Rumah Mode" for bargains and try local dishes at the cafeteria next door.
We went horse riding around the tea plantation.
All the above was specially arrangement by the dedicated staff of TGR. Special thanks to Ning, Tety, Dedy and the friendly security guard.
We felt like a sponge so hungry for some tranquillity that we absorb all that was offer by nature. So if you are looking for a Re-energized,
Fresh clean air, Lush green surrounding, Peaceful retreat. This is the place for you.
My son just ask when are we going back so we will return soon!

The setting is gorgeous - surrounded by tea plantation and rice paddies.
Very quiet and peaceful. Fantastic break from the noise of Bandung city.
Service is impeccable. Warm and very friendly staff. Kept kids entertained with a ceramics session so my husband and I could relax.
Very close to Sari Ater hot springs (< 10 minutes by car).
Hotel willing to arrange transport to places of interest. Free shuttle service to Bandung city (e.g. to factory outlets).
Thank you to Ning, Teti, and all the other staff for a very memorable stay!
We'd definitely consider coming back.
