In this place you will experience various sundanese traditions packed in one fun and interactive show! You will take part in the musical and dance activities! The hosts are very well trained to cater international tourists, as the presenter can speak english, french, dutch, german! I always bring my friends here when they visit Bandung for the 1st time, and it always impresses them! I just wish that more art troupes like the saung angklung mand udjo exist in other parts of Indonesia...

Angklung is somewhat oldies and outdated to some people but coming to this place you'd find that the device is very intriguing as Saung Angklung Ujo could present them in a modern approach. Even in one point, you would find yourself as one member of angklung orchestra playing songs together in harmony.. Try that for once in your life..

Salute to the owner & management who could find the very interesting way to present the oldies..

Very recommended to any Indonesian in any age who want to have fun with Angklung - reminiscing your roots in a very fun presentation, performance and atmosphere..

Mostly recommended to the foreigners who want to feel the experience of touching and playing (yes, you could play the angklung together with other audience like an orchestra) the Indonesian culture..

Again - my salute to the management of the Saung Angklung Ujo.. Also to the recognition of Angklung as the UNESCO heritage from Indonesia as of Nov. 16, 2013..

This is a must, to see a show, of traditional Javan music. It lasted 2 hours, with great entertainment all the time. It's in a covered, but outside, amphitheatre. Also has very good shops, and a place where you can see them making the instruments. The show was first class, a lot of children taking part, all giving their utmost ,promoting their music. Ending in audience partition, not only in dancing, but attempting, to play the instruments, and finally achieving a tune, everyone enjoyed the show, very professional . A must.
