Just a government office. Near gasibu sport fields and geology museum. Very crowded at weekend with sporty people and local trader in the street

There are two sides of impression beeing gained when we visit this beautiful heritage: historic and architectural. Firstly, this colonial building and its park are strongly related to the defence of the nation's independence. At the beginning of the independence, the building was used by Ministry of Public Works who later on defended it from Dutch Colonial when they try to come back in. At that incident there were seven martyrs passed away. Therefore, Public Works officers also know the heritage with The Seven Martyr Building.
Secondly its architecture is very beautiful and fit to the environment and atmosphere of Bandung. Completed with its beautiful garden, we feel very comfortable visiting this heritage. It will be a big advantage if you have a chance to visit its inside since you may imagine the situation of a colonial office and from the top part you will have a breath taking view of surrounding area of the building.

Please come and see Gedung Sate as the icon of Bandung (West Java). This is the place that governor always held the reception for guests who come to Bandung. With unique symbol up on the building, it means that you will find this building so easy. Enjoy your day...
