“historical building in bandung”
Reviewed December 20, 2012

its a historical building. its call gedung sate means satay building. at the top of the rrof of this building u could find something look a like satay... grill beef or chicken with a skewer. but this building is a government office, so don't expect u could enter the inside of this building. except u have meeting with the west java governor. hehehe.. but u can find may street vendors that sells many food outside, and plus...this building is near to the factory outlet.

“A Colonial building you must see in Bandung”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

This is very historical place for Sundanese people. It was built by colonial Dutch government in the early 20 the century. The arcitecture of the building is very unique and the surrounding is pretty. FYI, it is called Gedung Sate because on the top of the roof, there is an ornament looks like satay (skewer). owever "that skewer" is not only an ornament but it has a function to prevent the light and thunder strike.
