“Great place. Worth going to new building”

Perfect place to stay. There is a big diference to stay in a Bale Bunga or in a Bale Sukat Room so I recomend spending some extra dollars in order to have a great experience. Room 203 is amazing! Bale Bunga is rather old. Bale Sukat is perfect. Better to book directly with hotel web in order to have better prices. They also offer drivers to hire for the day, you can negociate rates and they are so nice! Atenttion in reception is great, and they also book for you boats to Gili at good price. There is a free Ubud pick up and drop off in the city center, we used it after dinner. Otherwise it is a nice 10 minutes walk by shops. Reception took me to the money exchange with the best rate in Ubud. nice pool and lovely views to rice fields. No need to expend moré money in more expensive hotels. Do not go to the cheaper Room unless you are on a tight budget, we stayed in both and experience has nothing to do. No TV in Room. Only in reception. Free wifi. Next door to Tegal Sari

Room Tip: Do not choose cheaper rooms

Green Fields offer a variety of rooms at different prices. Most of the rooms offer views of the rice fields making you feel as though you are in a beautiful rural setting. The staff is exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The rooms are meticulously clean and worth the money. And, finally the breakfast (which is included) is awesome. Would be our first choice in hotels in Ubud.

Room Tip: We looked at the moderately priced rooms and the higher priced rooms. Both were quite nice. During...

I have to say that the value for money at this place is fantastic. We had a Bale Sukat Bali room and it was lovely. The view from our balcony was amazing and we loved to sit out and have a drink or read on the balcony. Our room was spacious and the bathroom was large and very clean. I have to say that the only thing I wasn't too happy about was not having a shower and the blinds were not in very good condition and did not close properly so it felt like we were on display when ever we wanted to use our bathroom. We ended up bathing in the dark but if anything it is something we will laugh about in the future. The free shuttle was fantastic and we just got restaurants etc to call them to pick us up which was great. The staff are truly lovely and I found Feny to be extremely helpful. The pool area is nice with trees and bules to lay under. We also enjoyed our breakfast each day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, especially if you want to stay somewhere a bit cheaper but still with gorgeous Bali charm.

Green field was wonderful. The rooms are well decorated, there are spacious porches, a stunning salt water pool over the rice fields and a filling inclusive breakfast. That being said, I would recommend staying in any of their rooms save their most standard which seem to have less satisfied customers.

Room Tip: Get the rooms that are 550 k rupiah or more. If you are on a stricter budget, I would go else where...

I stayed here for 4N with a friend and our main aim was to do yoga at the Yoga Barn. All the hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was a Bale Sukat Bali room on the ground floor with a view of the padi fields - close enough to the lobby to receive average WIFI signals. The room itself was lovely, beautiful verandah, giant bathroom with a sit-down bathtub, a mini fridge, all in gorgeous Balinese architecture. There wasn't a TV which didn't bother us. Onsite massages/facials etc were available in your room but we didn't try these.

Breakfasts were great and cooked to order. There's a choice of fruit juice or fruit platter or fruit salad with yoghurt & honey; main of eggs done any way and toast or pancakes or cereal, and then coffee or tea. Tried everything on the breakfast menu (except the cereal) and enjoyed all of it.

The saltwater pool was lovely and had a great view of the padi fields. So relaxing especially on a hot afternoon. Towels and sunbeds were aplenty.

Cannot say enough about how helpful staff were - they helped us organize a cultural performance, cycling tour, cooking class, shuttles to and fro Ubud town, reminded us about the 150,000 rupiahs tax at the airport, etc.

There is no safety box in the room - only at reception. There's also only one key to the room - my friend and I just dropped it off at reception when we headed out separately. It's about 8-10min walk to the Yoga Barn and about 10mins by shuttle to Ubud town.

It would be nice if the room came with a ceiling fan, we would have slept without aircon at night as there was a nice breeze but there was no fan in the room. The water pressure for the shower/bath is also quite low which means showering took some extra time. Would stay here again and recommend this to friends without a doubt.

My boyfriend found this place while we had only 3 nights left in Bali. We had standard room with air-con only 300K (compare with other hotel in Ubud this place was value for money). The hotel was near Tegal Sari (The place that we planed to stay) but luckily Tegal Sari was fulled and he found this place with beautiful rice field view, I like their pool and lotus pool and also their breakfast was very nice. At the first time we planed to stay only 2 nights before move to Kuta, then we changed our mind to expand for 1 more nights. The staff was very friendly even though we miss many communicated with them but everything was great.

I love this location, it's next to KT (exchange money) and Circle K (Local 24 hrs shop), just 300-500 meters to a big superstore and Monkey forest.

If you plan to stay in Ubud, I am strongly recommend this place it value for your Bali trip :)

Room Tip: Upstairs room with stunning rice field view. Do not expect about hot shower it had only cold and col...

I would like to commend Hui Pin who was adorable from the time I booked our rooms over the phone to the time we checked out. You are a valuable asset to this hotel. I got Bale Adat rooms for our party which consisted of 3 persons. We ended up staying in one room as the rooms were huge and foregoing the other. We still paid for the empty room but Hui Pin generously offered that if somebody booked it then we wouldn't have to pay for it. It wasn't our luck but I thank her for her thoughtfulness. As I said the rooms were huge and the balconies very conducive to relaxing and passing time away. I could stay for a long time just watching the squirrels, flying lizards, ducks and other animals in the trees and rice fields. The airconditioning could use some improvement. I found it the norm for Bali though - the airconditioning couldn't keep up with the Bali heat. I love Ubud and its slow pace and Green Fields is a good base to explore the area.
