We had an excellent experiece here. We stayed in Bale Adat, which is on the 2rd Floor and has the great view of rice fields. This is really a great value, considering the view, location, rooms, pool, breakfast, environment, etc. Hui Pin, the front desk manager, who is from Taiwan, give us a lot of professional help. There are wild gecko, squirrel, little egret, lizard all around the bungalow, which I like the most.
There's several times of short black-out in our room in the second night of our stay but it was finally solved.

Room Tip: pay a little bit more money to get Bale Adat, which is on the 2rd Floor, less mosquitoes and better...

Stayed 6 nights here and pretty much loved everything. Stayed in room 202 Bale Sukat room for $55.00 including breakfast. There was one room between us and the salt water pool which overlooked the rice fields as did our room. The view was fantastic! Breakfast was included and we usually had it on our verandah. There was a good choice of fruit, fruit salad with yoghurt and honey, eggs any way, omelet, toast with jams, cereal and milk, tea and coffee, juice. Our room was cleaned every day while we were out. We had a lovely big triangle bath which we used each day with the bath gel which was provided.Shampoo and conditioner also provided and soap. Room service was available which we used one night and once for lunch. For the price this was excellent value. I loved the traditional doors and antique furniture on our verandah. The curtains allowed the room to stay dark enough to sleep in if you wanted to which is a bonus in Bali as often the rooms are too light. The room had a fridge and mini bar and the air con worked great. Lights were bright enough to read by at night another bonus in Bali. They said the wifi was only available at the pool or reception area but we found it was always available in our room so we were very happy. The location is great with restaurants at your doorstop, a money changer and a laundry a few doors away, Coco's supermarket and the Yoga Barn within walking distance of 5 to 10 minutes. We hired a scooter so it was no problem to ride around to Monkey Forest Road if we wanted to go to the restaurants or shops there but I also walked there many times it only took 10 to 15 minutes.

Room Tip: I love the ground floor as I can sit on my verandah and look at the rice fields in front of me.

I love staying in Ubud but have not stayed at Green Field's before and after this visit will only stay here. I had a Semampai rooms with a veranda that led straight onto the rice field, which I never tire of looking at. Room was very private, huge and I loved not having a tv. The hotel will organise you laundry for an extremely good price, I don't think you would get cheaper outside the hotel.

The pool is small but good with plenty of good spots to sit or lie in the sun. The kids all loved the pool. You could even have your breakfast around the pool.

The staff at Green Fields can't do enough to help you and the free shuttle around the area is really convenient, though in saying that its only a 5 minute walk to Jalan Hannoman. We also used their transport to go to Bedegul, and when my niece broke her arm, the driver could not do enough to help, including missing going home to his village in order to drive her down to BMIC and back.

Their are a plenty of really good restaurants close by, Balinese Pundi Pundi, Italian Mia's and Mexican Taco Casa all serving very good food.

This is a fantastic property. Very close to town and awesome views of the rice patties. Do yourself a favor and stay at one of the higher-end rooms (which are an amazing deal). We spent three nights in the beautfiul Bali Pingit room (700,000 Ringit/night). It is worthe the extra money. Our final night was in the Bale Bunga room (300,000 Ringit/night) and it is not nearly as nice as the Bali Pingit room.

Room Tip: Stayin the Bali Bunga room.

We only stayed one night here and arrived late at night, but we were happy with our rooms - spacious rooms with a view of the rice paddies. The breakfast was nice, although not a buffet (which I prefer). The great thing is that you can walk from the hotel into town and to the Monkey Forest. It's a good hotel for a good price.

This is our sixth time in Ubud and the first time at Green Field. We had a fabulous time...certainly the best hotel we have stayed at. The location is excellent for us, just enough distance from the centre to get a decent walk every day but close to everything that you want. There is a free shuttle bus to the centre if required. We stayed in the wet season so we needed it once or twice, it was always available and prompt. The staff were great, always friendly and always helpful. There is enough variety at breakfast so you don't get bored....including 4 different egg possibilities you could have something different 8 days in a row. Thank you to Mui Pin and the team .....this is definitely our place of choice in Ubud now....see you next year.

"Les gens heureux n'ont pas d'histoire" as we say in French... ("Happy people have no history") We could say that everything was so perfect for us in this hotel there is virtually nothing to say. Starting with the friendly welcome, quickly and efficient, continuing with the extreme kindness and professionalism of the staff who always gave us good and valuable advice, the shuttle who was always punctual to lead us to the center of Ubud, the tasty and refined breakfast, and ending with the beautiful traditional architecture of the whole hotel. We were delighted by the exquisite decoration of our room 407 (Bale Adat), its huge volume, the richly carved furniture, the breathtaking view over the rice fields and the beautiful sunsets. Not to forget : the choir of the frogs in the night as the sweetest music to fall asleep smoothly - and even our "private Gecko" ! :) ☺
We live in a gray, big and poluted city and have never imagined before our arrival in Ubud to enjoy with so much enchantment that perfect harmony with the nature which is so specific to Bali. Should we add that we'll certainly come back here next year ?...

Thank you for everything !! thank you so much for our perfect stay, for your smile and professionalism !!
