I loved my experience at the Ubud Yoga House. It’s a 10-15 minute walk outside of the main area of the city, but personally I thought the walk through the rice fields just complimented the overall experience. I’m not much into the spiritual aspect of yoga (don’t hate yogis!), but I couldn’t help but feel at peace walking to, during, and after my class. I particularly enjoyed the waterfall in the background, not to mention the incredible scenery and atmosphere.
I hung around afterwards with some students for tea (complimentary) and had the chance to speak with the owner, who I must add was an incredibly sweet person. She recommended the restaurant “Pomegranate” right up the road, which was just the icing on the cake for a fantastic experience.
The class was fairly small (5 people) and the instructor was great (sadly can’t remember his name; typical American I know). More
