I would 100% recommend this day trip to anybody visiting Ubud. The tour was very well organised and looked after us very well with an agreed pick up and drop off time, regular breaks and meals at lovely restaurants.

The route of the tour was fantastic allowing us to pass many little villages and beautiful scenery and of course, the stunningly picturesque rice paddies of this region, ending in the famous world heritage rice terrace.

We were regularly given drinks, snacks and even cold tee tree scented towels, which is quite a treat after cycling 30Km!!

Our tour guides were very friendly and knowledgeable and from the local area.

The tour also included a tea and coffee tasting session which was great fun!

This is much more than a bike ride, this is a fantastic exploration of Balinese people, the wonderful country side, small Balinese village living, village industries, eco tourism, food and coffee. My wife and I; along with our other four touring-for-the-day friends, relished every second of this 8 hour tour. Our tour took the guys longer than usual because we looked at everything, talked to lots of people, took a million photos, generally lagged back drank in the experience for as long as we could stretch it out for. It was a most excellent day cycle touring, I don't know how it could be improved. Our next day we decided to do a rafting trip with these guys too. Another fantastic day. Read the blurb on the website for Greenbike, they are not blowing wind up your kilt, they are serious about their country and it shows. Rave, rave, rave, we loved everything about our Greenbike experience, good luck to them, and congratulations if you choose to tour and explore with them.
Chris.

Okok, I have read all the excellent reviews with Greenbike, I shall not repeat them. I agree totally with ALL the good comments. On top of that, let me state a few more excellent remarks.

1) Guide (Darma) took time to gear us up properly with helmet, seat cushions, sun sheath protection on both arms and most importantly on how to brake!

2) After biking, we had a late lunch opposite a rice terrace, before leaving, my wife spotted a slightly deflated tire on one side of the minivan, you know what? The guide and all his assistants jumped into action and changed the tire in less than 10 minutes and we are off on road again! Bravo! They don't take any chances to make our experience a marvelous one!

The whole trip was seamless from start to finish. Great way to see the countryside and small villages. It was great to learn about the Balinese way of life.

Mad*e (tour guide) and his team provided excellent service and attention to all. Didn't matter if you were old or young, fast or slow they gave great attention.

We were picked up at 7:30 and have just got back mid afternoon. What a day. Our first stop was the coffee and tea plantation. The Lewak coffee was interesting as was trying all the different teas and coffees. We had breakfast at the top of a mountain overlooking a lake and the volcano. A surprise as we hadn't expected to see this.

Next was the biking. Great attention and care given to all. You ride threw villages and lanes, rice fields and tracks. If you want to see the rice terraces, this is worth the ride.

Then to top it off a fantastic late lunch over looking the rice terraces. Another hidden gem.

I would recommend to all ages and fitness levels. Thanks for a wonderful day. Looking forward to sleep tonight.

Stu and Jan, Christchurch, New Zealand.

What puts Greenbike above other tours are the subtle things - an English fluent guide (Darma) that not only boast a deep knowledge of Bali's history but also is passionate in sharing Bali's culture; the chance to see not only coffee plantations and rice fields but also visit the home of a local family and put our experience in perspective; a 25km bike ride that is not only fun since it's mostly downhill but also safe because the guides anchor the team front and back. If there is one tour in Bali that's a must join, it is this one. Book Greebike and ask for Darma!
