“Really enjoyed our stay”
Reviewed February 24, 2014

We stayed here 4 nights in November 2013. We really liked this place, it is in a gorgeous setting overlooking the river and very green, it felt very quiet, secluded and peaceful but was still in a good location for walking into town where all the main sights and restaurants are. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, with a good shower, TV, wardrobe, complimentary water and tea/coffee facilities and the free wifi worked well in the room. The complimentary breakfast was generous and the staff were very friendly and helpful. This place is great value and we would definitely stay here again.

I was skeptical when my husband booked the villa, but was pleasantly surprised to find the room was spacious, brand new and the bathroom was clean and looks new as well. We are sitting in the spacious balcony overlooking the temple under construction (oh well, can't have everything) and listening to the river below us as I'm writing this review. We booked a deluxe room but they put us in the upstairs room of the 2 bedroom villa. The first night we arrived, there was a little leak in the bedroom and they offered to move us to the bedroom downstairs, but we opted to move the bed with the option to move downstairs if the leak worsen, it didn't and the next day all was fine. The staff were absolutely accommodating and very pleasant to deal with.
Breakfast was set menu and selection was limited but it was very tasty.
The are a few improvements with that could be done for the villa; one of them is the stairs. There are a few flights of stairs and the height of the steps are too high, so this place is not ideal for people who have problems with climbing up stairs or kids. More railings also needed to make the place pass the safety code. I must add that the front part of the villa's is under construction but it did not disturb our piece and quiet in the room.
Another improvement that could be added is to put steps to get in and out of the pool (more important to get out!).
The bathroom could do some counter space to put the toiletries on. And a dressing table mirror as well as a full length mirror would definitely complete the room.
All in all it was a very pleasant stay and we really enjoyed our time here.

We stayed in Ani's Villa halfway our trip around Bali to relax a little. This "home' met all of our expectations. It is beautiful, in a special location between jungle, river, town, and museum. It is very well equipped with fabulous swimming pools. Our room was beautiful. Awesome rover and bridges! Service was very good and fortunately not pushy at all. Nice people, staff and owner, and we are Indonesian couple, they treat us like their family. Not racist. Please noted, the don't have a Fitness Center to you.

Room Tip: Rooms next to pool are awesome.

at first, a very friendly welcoming, then I was very glad to see the rooms with great view of campuhan river. Anis /villas has a Very strategic location in central ubud directly in front of the Blancos museum, and only need 5 minutes to walk to reach ubud traditional market.
I felt so comfortable and enjoyed my stay with friends in Anis Villas. The sounds of the water flow in campuhan river is very natural and peaceful, which is excellent to made us feel the nature and peace, especially at night. We had room with Very big balcony so small party with my friends was possible. We had fun.
I love to swim, so I swam everyday there, I am very satisfied with the swimming pool, simple but nice.
We stayed for 2 days, really we need to visit Anis Villas again, and that very soon :)

We stayed here for 2 nights with my sister and her 3 year old daughter. We had a villa with 2 big rooms, enough to accommodate 6 people. It is really spacious! The room is overlooking the river and the temple (it was under construction at the time we were staying there). So many stairs to go around so make sure you have the staff number so you can call them if you need anything! But overall, we really like the place, it is green, sunny and breezy.

Family of four and grandparents visited this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel staff is very nice and very helpful. The hotel has just opened earlier this year. We were staying in an open plan family suite, which has two rooms, a kitchen and a nice terrace with dining area. If you like, self catering is possible. The hotel has no restaurant although they offer breakfast.
The hotel is located at a river. At night there were a lot of mosquito's, but our room had no mosquito nets. Although other rooms in the hotel do have mosquito nets. We had to ask staff to install a mosquito net for the 2nd night.
The bathroom is nice but not very efficient. When showering water stays on the bathroom floor.
Breakfast (included) on the first day was great, but on the second day the fruit juice was mixed with milk. When we asked if they had added milk to the juice, the waitress replied: "maybe?" And she looked very shocked! I guess they ran out of fruit and didn't dare to tell us. The pancakes were off, my mom got sick. Make sure you get up early, otherwise you have to wait for breakfast a long time.
The swimming pool is stunning! The water is cold. The hotel offers towels at the pool and sun beds. My kids enjoyed the swimming. The scenery is beautiful, overlooking a temple and the rivers.
The hotel has no restaurant, but no worries: a few of the best restaurants in Ubud are next door!
Next time, I might stay in this hotel again but will take a different room and bring earplugs for the sound of the rivers at night.

Room Tip: The family room has a semi-open roof. Habitat for bugs, birds and mosquito's. Swimming pool has...
