“great food setting and service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 30, 2013

We had a lovely dinner. The setting was romantic and I really like the food and service. We walked to the restaurant from Ubud. (1 hour walk) and a free taxi service brought us back to the hotel in Ubud. . I had pumpin soup, a lovely Tuna steak with organic made sambal and a chocolade tart. it was delicious. They also organise Cycle tours and cooking classes.

I have been to more restaurants in Ubud and found this the best one.

“Excellent meal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 29, 2013

On a beautiful fine day on Sunday 26 August, I discovered Padi Organic for lunch.
The vegetarian meal (tofu) I ordered was cooked to perfection and presented superbly. It was great. The bananas too were excellent, as was the service and attention to detail.

After the hubbub of even Ubud these days (in my first visits my years ago, Ubud was sleepy indeed), it was also excellent to be in an open air place amidst the rice fields. Highly recommended.

“Delicious Indonesian food in beautiful setting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 27, 2013

Four of us went for dinner at Padi Organic, organised free pick up from our hotel in Monkey Forest Rd, at 6pm so we could could see the sunset. Beautiful setting, staff only too happy to show us the organic gardens. Indonesian food was delicious and well priced. Friend had steak but was very undercooked and mashed potato was very lumpy. Chef came to our table and was eager to get our comments on the meal, so they could improve in the future. Service was fantastic and staff very attentive, but language barrier was a bit of a problem when ordering. I would love to give this restaurant 5 stars, but because of the western food I have to give it a 4. Would definitely return for Indonesian food and setting!

“Absolute Serenity & authentic bali”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 23, 2013

Having stayed in nusa dua for over a week eating in padi organic was a piece of heaven. We stayed in junjungan and walked here - taking around 1.5 hrs. It was definitely worth the walk. From the moment you walk in the staff are so friendly & happy to explain the concept & attend to your every need. The views are amazing, was so good we could have spent all day & night here. We had lunch - pumpkin soup, green salad & crispy duck. All excellent. My wife ordered a whole coconut to drink & took the 2 of us some drinking to get to the end, definetley big enough for 2-4 people. The setting is glorious, surrounded by rice paddies & wildlife. They also provide free shuttle services if you are not up for the walk. Cannot recommend this enough, do not be put off from how far from ubud it is (about 4km) it is worth the journey. If you can go when it's light you will get to enjoy the countryside. Great value for money & home grown salad and veggies right in front of you. They also provide cooking classes and excursions to the mountains on bike if you are into that. Will be back on my next trip.

“Stunning location, friendly staff and delicious food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 17, 2013

We found this place just a few days before we went to Bali, it was very close to our villa (Agung Khalia in Pejeng), only a 10 minutes drive.
Unfortunately our first evening in Bali was a rainy, chilly evening and the restaurant was deserted, but that meant extra kind attention of the lovely staff.
We could sit outside as the area was covered, and the staff brought even a sweater for our daughter. The views are great, so is the whole atmosphere.
Food very good. This restaurant is more busy during lunch time, and they also organise bike tours ending here.
What a lovely way (despite the weather) to start our Bali trip here!
Wish you all the best!
