Whenever you ask for a price the vendors will tell you a 4 to 10x higher from the original selling price. For example they will tell you rattan bag cost 250,000 idr but you can end up getting it by 90,000 idr. When buying a Bracelet they will tell you it’s 100,000k but you can end up getting by 25,000k. So be good in bargaining yet reasonable.

We've visited the traditional market in August 2019. It was a nice experience going around stalls selling wood decorative stuff, rattan bags and many clothes made in Bali. If you love street shopping with some traditional flavor, go see this market.

If it’s your first time here in Ubud it’s worth a stroll through. You might see something that interests you. While it can get very repetitive as the stalls do sell the same stuff, you will get a great deal usually less than half of their opening offer, just remember to haggle. Where this market becomes really useful is when you know exactly what you want - bargain time! Once you’ve been through the market there’s no real need to return. After all it usually is crowded, noisy, smelly & the vendors will hassle you to no end.

It's a enjoyable experience shopping. So many great finds and bargains! I want to buy something called "DreamCatcher"
What is the meaning the dreamcatcher?
As a Native American legend is told,by hanging a dream catcher over your sleeping a area the bad dreams will be deterred by the bead in the feathers will attract and allow the good dreams to pass thought.

It's a enjoyable experience shopping or just browsing through the Ubud Market. So many great finds and bargains! I wanted to buy so many things but I couldn't because I didn't want to splurge and my luggage won't allow it.

They all pretty much sell the same thing! Make sure to go through all the stalls to gauge the prices of the items you want to get and bargain, bargain, bargain! They usually give the price you want when you step off or leave their stall. Hahaha!
