There are hundreds of stalls all selling lots of tourist souvenirs, jewellery, sarongs, nick nicks and everything for the tourist - but it wasn't hard to get them below 50% of the opening price, so be prepared to haggle

We went to the market this morning and picked up a few things. Things to be aware of:
-it's quite narrow in places
-it can be a bit of a labyrinth/disorientating
-many of the stalls have the same stuff
-some of the sellers won't haggle
-the mopeds still drive through the market.

If you want a cheap sarong or souvenir, it's perfect.

I’m not sure how much of this is traditional art...it’s very commercial. But I did get a ton of great souvenirs here.

Very busy and very commercial but enjoyable to see amazing array of Balinese handicrafts and products. Bargaining essential ! And with a little skill and persistence you can buy much cheaper than in most shops.

I loved the place...the hustle bustle...there is so much to choose from but you have to be the best bargainer...the ubud bags are the famous ones and you can buy plenty of souvenirs from this place...
