We went early and there was no one there, it was lovely. I couldn't believe it. But by the time we left it was heavily populated!!! it was a bit crowded. Monkeys have the chance to leave if they like. But why don't you put the sick blind monkeys in the cage to sleep, put them out of their misery?

This was a little trip that we made whilst we were in Ubud. The monkeys are just brilliant if you love animals... one stole a chocolate bar from my bag! I would say you need a couple of hours in there not much more

No need to make a special trip to the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary...........the monkeys are all over the town in Ubud. Be careful, they have been trained to steal your sunglasses, phones, and things out of your backpack.

Fun couple of hours. Lots of monkeys be careful as they will jump on backpacks and literally open zips and steal anything inside, fun to watch as long as it doesn’t happen to you!!

If you are in Ubud, the monkey forest is "a must."
The monkeys are cute, and it's nice to see that they are well taken care of. There is lots of staff around the forest feeding the monkeys and making sure everything is ok.

But do beware: the monkeys are wild animals. It is adviced to stay at a safe distance, don't feed the monkeys, and don't bring food, candy etc. inside the forest (even in your bag or your pockets) as the monkeys will smell it and try to steal it.
