Great place to visit with your family.
Do not feed the monkeys. If you sit thereare great chances that one of them will sit on you.

When in Bali you must visit the Monkey Forrest to see them in the wild. But do not look them in the eye as this represents a challenge. Be mindful when walking under a tall tree because a monkey might pee on you

Yes it’s super touristy! But it’s still cool! Bunch of monkeys running around bangin nuts open with rocks and jumpin on people! Super cool old temples and statues. We spent a couple hours walk-in around. The grounds are beautiful. Definitely go.

It's a beautiful sanctuary! But please read the rules- dont take food and feed the monkeys they have more than enough and are well looked after. When a monkey jumps on you, please dont run around and scream hysterically, just keep calm and walk on, they are just curious on what you have on you, they will jump off. And if you want to take your children with, warn them in advance that they are wild animals, they dont like being picked up or chased, they are wild animals and must be respected they will launch and become agressive if irritaded, and show some teeth. And dont look directly into their eyes unless you would like to be challenged. But a great experience!

This place was amazing. The nicely paved paths made for a easy hike. More monkeys than I expected to see.
