“Rascal Monkeys”
Reviewed April 17, 2014

We were warned that the monkeys would grab all and sundry if they had the opportunity - but I still had my water bottle snatched from my hand. They are sneaky little critters but have not heard of them being aggressive (which is what we were originally concerned about). it was a good experience especially watching them dive into the little pond & swim around chasing each other..

“Forest Vacation”
Reviewed April 17, 2014

Good place for vacation although i saw some rubbish on the floor but nevermind with this minor problem.I saw some monkey on the way of trekking but careful with the monkey that it will scratch you if you make fun of them.Make sure you didn't bring any food inside and tie your beg carefully because the monkey may stole them while you look away.

“Great for kids”
Reviewed April 17, 2014

The Monkey Forrest is well worth a visit if you have kids. The cheeky monkeys captivate them! The forest itself is welcome respite from the heat of the day and is really beautiful. Keep an eye out for the big male monkeys who can be a bit demanding if you have food on you! A fun activity for an hour or so.

“Just Ok”
Reviewed April 16, 2014

It is nice area but it is dirty. The monkeys were aggressive sometimes so be careful if you wore sunglasses, brought bags etc. they tried to get foods from your bag especially plastic bag.
It is interesting to know, just be carefull with the monkey. Entrance fee was so cheap

“Stay calm and not panic”
Reviewed April 16, 2014

When you plan to visit Monkey Forrest - first of all - do not wear any shiny clothes. Do not wear watch or neclects. Remove glasses. Buy 2-3 kg of small bananas and hide them in sealed bag.
When you get on place, get your camera ready and, get one banana ready, chose not too big monkey, but not too small and too young. Get a lilttle down on your knees, when you get monkey on your arm, stay calm and try to feed it by giving one singel banana when the other person will make a picture and keep the rest of bananas. Do not try to catch monkey on its hand or so because they do not like it and can bite...
Stay calm and in controll all the way. If you pick up too young and toos mall monkey - it is a high chance that you will get his parent on youself as well ...

Good Luck!!!
