“A bit creepy!”
Reviewed March 6, 2013

When in Rome.....I suppose it was neat to see "Wild Monkey's", but after 10 minutes I was a bit scared of all those monkeys jumping around. One jumped on a woman near me and she freaked out and started for the exit immediately. I too didn't stay long, but if you like wildlife and being in the middle of it go for it! Its only $2 usd to enter, but keep an eye on your belonging and dont bring in food or they will get it/you!

“Watch your back”
Reviewed March 5, 2013

The place belongs to the monkeys. If you think otherwise you are in for a big surprise. If you do take food in you are most at risk of attack but even if you don't stay well away from railings if the monkey wants to pass by. I didn't and was bitten on the back. Iodine and disinfectant solved the problem at the first aid station. There are so many of the monkeys that it is very difficult to see behind you. Yes they will jump on you even without food. Enjoy the temples and forest but be prepared for aggression from your hosts.

“Perfect”

So nice (what is not nice in Bali??). Good to go for a walk, and have pictures. The monkies can be scary at some points (clever animals...!) but lovely place

“nice setting, aggressive monkeys”
Reviewed March 3, 2013

before you go: No food to feed the monkeys, no sparkles of any kind (I had some on my skirt) and be aware of your surroundings. It was fun to watch the monkeys and to see the little ones but they are aggressive from everyone feeding them.

“nice monkey jungle”
Reviewed March 3, 2013

walk there from the Ubud palace just down the money forest road 15 minutes; if you bring banana or food, it willl be gone within 60 seconds, they will jump you if you still have something hidden.. bring a camera and take pictures how they eat bananas from your hand.
