This is a lovely place with a great menu (French/Moroccan influence) and good wine list. We had a lovely Moroccan lamb shank with couscous and a perfectly cooked crusted Tasmanian salmon with crisp green vegetables, potato mash and sauce buerre blanc. It was divine.
But the best thing about this place is how lovely and friendly the staff are. Our waitress Fikki found out we were stay in Nyuhkuning (the village she comes from) and that were going to the special ceremony at the temple in the Monkey Forest. She not only offered to take us there but also lent me the traditional clothes to wear. This kind of generosity goes way beyond the call of duty but I noticed she and the other staff seemed genuinely interested in their customers. Make this place a must on your next trip. You won't regret it.

If you need a little break from Indonesian cuisine, this is the perfect spot. We stumbled upon this little beauty during the day & thought it seemed pleasant but when we went back for dinner were blown away by the gorgeous atmosphere, romantic lighting, French colonial decor and amazing food! We loved the burger, the calamari fritti and the wild mushroom ravioli (homemade!).... yummy cocktails too! Definitely worth a visit for dinner. We will be back next time we are here.

Visited Kebun for lunch while on a shopping day in Ubud. It was perfect. The setting was like a Parisienne cafe. The staff were just like waiters that we have experienced in France. The food was perfect!. I had the special house gin cocktail. OMG to die fo! The food was fabulous too. We had a variety of tapas and salads, perfect portions and favours, just excellent! Kebun was one of my top two lunch restaurants during our week in Ubud.
