Great spot close to the river, no better spot to relax and have a nice healthy lunch
Had the kumera & tempe cakes as well as a vegetable & quinoa soup, both surprisingly great!
The raw vegetable and sesame dip free appetizer was good enough for us to ask for more

We enjoyed tropical fruit juices, which came out in lovely wooden holders. We ordered a vegetarian Pad Thai that was made to order fresh without eggs. It was probably the best Pad Thai I have eaten, very clean and fresh flavours with just enough spice. The atmosphere here is wonderful, overlooking the lake and nature and infinity pool. Definately recommend enjoying some time in the sun at the River Cafe.

Im not sure what food some of these reviewers have been eating because it is awesome. Yes the setting is perfect however it is the organic cold pressed juices and dishes like the chilli snapper which had us coming back for more. The prices are higher than what you would pay in town, which I assume has influenced some negative reviews of the food. If this cafe was at home in Melbourne I would definetly be a regular.

Went there just yesterday, was so stunned by the view, breathtaking!! You need to walk so damn far from the hotel entrance to reach river cafe, and you have to take elevator too. Approx 10 minutes walk with wedges shoes (wrong choice). The food was ok, i had the teriyaki hot plate steak, the signature jamu didn't impress me at all though. Definitely will come back again for the view, not the food.

Great experience and love the slate hot plates where you 'cook' your own lunch! Lovely fresh juices, perfect on a hot day or after the spa.
