“good food, good price and good cause.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 24, 2014

Profits from this restaurant and guest house go to the Ubud Bali Sari Clinic which provides free medical care to the local residents. That alone is a good reason to support this restaurant. The food here is great and the service is really good as well. We sat out on the balcony and dined on the following...

Lime, ginger, mint drink (must try)...23,000 Rp
Spicy cashew chicken stir fry (great)...60,000 Rp
Capcay (good)...40,000 Rp
Nasi Goreng (good)...40,000 Rp
Lime pie (lemon actually)...30,000 Rp

The service charge is built in and no tax is charged.

We will definitely come back here and urge you to try. The phone number is (0) 361 975 370. The foundation website is www.fairfuturefoundation.org

“a fusion place”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 24, 2014

It's a place mixing a lot of concepts together, a bar, a restaurant, a charity platform, etc. Food itself is averagely good. Service is quite slow though.

“Still the best in Ubud”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 24, 2014

It's our second holiday in Ubud and after a phenomenal experience from last year we decided to dine at Alex' restaurant again. I'm not sure if best can be better, but it was. Alex, the owner who runs this restaurant for medical charity, is still a fantastic host. We welcomes you with open arms from the door and incredibly he remembers most of the guests who dined at his. It creates family-like atmosphere and you just don't want to leave. Restaurant expanded a bit and has additional section of 2 tables across the main room; it's mote private and intimate. The service, still great, food...simply invincible. I could eat there every day and wouldn't get bored of the dishes they serve. Everything is sooo fresh and sourced locally. The flavors, the entire experience is just amazing. Beer is served in frozen glasses and deserts are simply delicious.

Guys, for the first dining experience in Ubud we do recommend you to go to Fair Warung, you won't regret! Furthermore, all profits from the restaurant go to local clinic ran by Alex, Swiss embassy and help of all donators. Through their hard work they managed to open hospital in Ubud this year. Health system in Bali is very expensive and this charity provides it for free for all in need.

Anyway, please have a go and try it. You'll eat GOOD and support GOOD cause.

“Eat well but do good for others”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 24, 2014

The food is very good, the service is excellent and a lovely ambience is to be had just 100m up from the main market in Ubud. We have now eaten here twice since we have been in Bali and the food and drinks we have enjoyed both times. On this our last occasion Alex (manager/founder) came over and explained the medical service they are providing and the need for funds for medical supplies (all of the profits from the meals you partake goes back into the medical foundation). So if you are in Ubud go and have a meal you will not be disappointed.

Food was authentic and good. The pricing was very much more affordable then most places given that my wife wanted a sampling of everything.

Do make a donation there if possible! Great cause
