“A little piece of heaven”
Reviewed February 11, 2013 via mobile

We found this place through our driver and decided to stop there for lunch. Whilst enjoying the most delicious pork ribs (Iga bakar) we discovered they also offer cooking classes. We booked in for the next day and spent a fun filled afternoon cooking with kadek. Not only was she a very talented and knowledgable chef but she was heaps of fun too!! Had a blast and highly recommend anyone wanting to experience authentic Balinese cooking.

“Great food, great prices”
Reviewed January 18, 2013

Really tasty food. Surprisingly large menu for a Waroeng. Mix of Balinese / Indonesian and Western foods. Portions are not huge, but are enough - and great value for the price. If you're hungrier, many items have a regular price and a "special" price that offers a larger portion. A simple Nasi Goreng (fried rice) or Mie Goreng (stir-fried noodles), each for less than Rp19,000 (about $2.00USD in Jan 2012.

“Great place!”
Reviewed January 15, 2013

From the outside this warung does not look that inviting, but once you are in you'll find this a wonderful, friendly warung with great food!! Very cheap. Nice secluded garden in the back. We will be in ubud for two weeks to come and are sure to go here many times during our stay!

“Surprisingly Good”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

I'm smacked myself after we ate here on the last night of our stay in Nyuh Kuning. Why hadn't we come here sooner? Everything we had, including duck and lowly mie goreng, was done well and reasonably priced. The shopfront is deceptively modest. You don't notice the quaint outdoor seating area at the back of the restaurant.

“Outstanding food”
Reviewed December 22, 2012

Outstanding Indonesian food. The owner is a trained chef who combines traditional Indonesian recipes with her own ideas. The garden is lovely as well and you cannot beat the price for this quality of food.
