Very peaceful, luxurious rooms - amazing value for the price.

Not really a 'resort', more a small collection of large hotel rooms/ small villa's. Still, as i sit here looking out over one of the resorts two pools into the rice field next door, it makes me wonder how the other half live!

Close to main drag of UBUD, can either walk or hire a scooter from reception for about $5 AUD per day (recommended over bicycles because of the steep hills everywhere!).

Found a great dinner venue very close by - Cafe De Artistes (ate there the first night and haven't tried anywhere else!! - keep going back).

The only down point for De Munut is the fact that the chef goes home about 4pm, and if you want to have dinner at the resort you have to let them know in advance so he doesn't knock off!

Spa services were good, rooms are spacious, clean and the bathroom (with bath) is amazing!

For the price we were able to get through booking.com, i would strongly recommend this to anyone going to UBUD for the first time - can't go wrong !

Room Tip: I stayed in room 306 - which adjoined to room 305 (both 1st floor villa style rooms at the rear of the property) - if i came back again i would probably request the same room(s) due to the view, how quiet it is and the fact that the balcony/ main window aspect does not get direct sunlight at anytime of the day - unlike some rooms that the morning sun poured into early in the morning!

We had the deluxe room. What a great room was that. We really needed this after a few budget hotels. De munut had a great location and great staff.
The room was really clean and the shower was wonderful. Also the breakfast was delicious. It was room 311.
Thank you for the great stay.

Room Tip: Bring you own tea. The room has a heater but no tea and sugar. It was delicious waking up in the big bed and than first had a cup of tea before the really great breakfast.

Have just come back from spending 4 nights here. The resort is lovely, rooms are big and kept very clean, the open air bathroom is a nice addition too. Only downfall would be the breakfast, there is not a large amount of choice & every morning our breakfast order was wrong (obviously something that can be easily changed!) overall it was great value & close enough to the centre of ubud that you don't need to cab everywhere.

It was a lovely resort with 2 pools and alush garden. We were feeling very comfortable and well taken care off the whoe time. The outdoor shower was also a nice feature. We had an upstairs room with balcony and the view was just stunning. Can really recommend this place.

De Munut is a great resort for experiencing Ubud and it surroundings! Lovely rooms (Deluxe) with outdoor bath and shower! Its quite and some rooms have view of the nextdoor ricepadies others on the beautiful gardens and swimmingpools! Breakfast is very good with fresh fruit. We explored the Ubud area with a scooter (rp50 with reception). The staff is really helpful too! So a great little get-away for Ubud.
