Owner description: The Campuhan Ridge Walk is arguably the best known Ubud trek and with good reason. The sparse crowds and the aesthetically rich vistas remind one of why people from around the world come to Bali. The trail starts at the historical origin of Ubud, the confluence (or Campuhan) of the Wos Rivers.

“a stroll into Bali”
Reviewed November 1, 2012

The full three hour + round trip will give you a wonderful peek into Balinese life - through villages, past family farms, dance centres and temples and chooks and dogs and kids going to school. all of it in a stunningly beautiful part of Bali. And of course you'll pass the hotel strip from the Campuhan bridge up to Senggiggi(?) turn-off road - past our favourite restaurant (Indus), hotel (Ananda) and spa (Bliss). All of this in what is really a stroll rather than a trek :)

“beautiful views”
Reviewed October 29, 2012

Choose early morning for the walk. We walked about 4 kms, met friendly locals along the route, saw a wedding from distance, had coffee in a cafe/gallery in rice fields, and on the 4 km way back bought chilled water at another cafe/gallery.

“One highlight of our trip”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

Such a beautiful walk along the lush greens of ubud. A little difficult to find at first but once you are on the path you just have to to follow the path. Some of the art that was being sold along the way was absolutely beautiful, it was just a shame that the owner couldn't be found so that we could buy some,

“Beauty everywhere you look.”

A favorite walk, to restore the soul. Don't leave Ubud without this treat of peace and tranquility. It's a steep climb, not much at the top, but buildings going up everywhere in Sebali village at the top.

“just follow your lonely planet..”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

Great tour, beautiful views! During the walk you pass along a small place where you can eat and drink something. I don't remember the name of the place but it offers an amazing view and is very peaceful. The food and drinks are also very good and have a good price. (Very good nasi !!).
The last part of the tour was a little bit dangerous because we had to walk near a busy road with lots of up and downs. And didn't look like we were supposed to walk there. It felt like walking on a high way :-)

Beautiful views on the rice terraces and a good way to explore the less touristic side of Ubud.

I really recommend it.

Tip: make sure you bring water with you.
