“natural waterfall in Ubud”
Reviewed December 7, 2012

Tegenungan waterfall is worth place to drive if you're taking any trip to east Bali specially on the way to Kintamani - Tampak siring area. Located in south east Ubud, This waterfall promise natural green atmosphere, silent, free from industrial activity
before taking trip to this waterfall expected some condition bellow:
1. even it is one of the tourist attraction in Ubud, Tegenungan is still lack of tourism facilities, so be sure to bring your personal requirements before your trip
2. Perfect for visitor who likes green environment, where they can climb down to the hidden waterfall and fells it's freshness. But visitors with disability still can view the waterfall form the small cafe" warung" little bit far from waterfal area

Wish my info can help anybody

I wanted to see waterfalls. My hotel was in Sanur so this was quite near. Only couple of tourist! Waterfalls was beauty! It cost 5000 rupias so only 50 cents. There is also a small cafetearia, where you an see the waterfalls if you dont want to go down to the steps

The waterfall of Tegenungan is a beuatiful one.Not overloaded by tourists like GitGit.From above (small warung) panoramic view. Not too difficult to go down to the bottom.Easy steps.
There is a (very) small fee for intrance/parking.
Not too far from Sanur.Don't take the main road.Find your way through villages and ricefields !

“Very good stop if you're traveling around by car.”
Reviewed May 6, 2012

Very nice stop on the way from Denpasar to Ubud.
Since you have to walk only 100 m from the parking, you'll need only 15 min to see the waterfall but the view is really great.

We had to pay 15 000 IDR to enter here.

I think there is a way to walk around the waterfall but traveling with young children we didn't want that.

“Tegenungan waterfall”
Reviewed December 31, 2011

there is a waterfall on the way from Ubud to Kuta, its a small village, very quiet but the infrastructure is not quiet good to reach the waterfall. actually its a very nice place to stay because the water so fresh and like many other Balinese river they always clean as water is a symbol of purification in their tradition also. there are small warung offering water and snack and soda drink as well as cold bintang beer after your long walking to the waterfall. the stairs is made from cement and its slippery when wet so take a good care since Bali is topical and very humid so many moss in the step of the stairs also.
