What a wonderful escape! When we first arrived at the villas, we didn't know what to expect. The entrance of the hotel may seem small, but when you enter to actually see the villa it is AMAZING. We got a room with a balcony and king size bed and the view was spectacular. I did not expect a view that was so breathtaking. The shower, bath tub, and toilet was located inside the hotel room and you can hear the sounds of nature. The room was extremely clean and very spacious. Although we did not use internet or cable as much, we never had an issue with the connection. The hotel room also has a safety deposit box, umbrella, and robes. If you ordered breakfast in bed, you are in for a treat because the breakfast in brought to you every morning! Breakfast is served from 8 A.M.- 10 A.M. and you can place in your order the night before. There are plenty of options such as traditional Balinese breakfast or a more "American" breakfast. The hotel also provides shuttle services with specific times for departure and pick ups. The shuttle stops directly at Ubud palace, which is a SUPER short walk from Ubud central. If you would like to have a private driver or rent a motor bike, the hotel also accommodates to these needs as a reasonable price. We rented a motor bike for 3 days for 70,000 rupiahs and a private driver for 500,000 rupiahs per day (price varies on where you want to go). I also LOVED the infinity pool! All I can say is we had an amazing stay and missing every moment of it. If we came back to Ubud, we would definitely return to Dedari Villas!

Room tip: Get a room with a balcony!

Ansoluelty amazing!
Make sure you have phone number and address as airport taxi didn't know where the place was and had to call.
We arrived very late yet the staff were still willing to prepare food for my daughter.

Staff cannot do enough for you.
Breakfast is brought to the rooms as no restaurant- which is fine given the breath taking views of the tropical jungle.
Rooms are fantastic size. Huge bathroom. But the bathroom has a mesh at the top of the outer wall making the room open to outside temperatures- so if you like air Con keep the bathroom door shut.
Wifi in the room.
Water cooler in room which is a huge advantage.
Had one day where we were the only people there.
Can arrange a massage at very short notice.
Taxi is free to ubud which takes 15/20 min depending on traffic.

Manager took us to our next hotel and was a fab tour guide explaining everything about Bali and events coming up.

For a bit of non commercial Bali this is the place to go! Absolutely amazing!

This place was the perfect jungle retreat!

Bedroom: We stayed in the 1 bed villa and it was so clean, so spacious, the bed was massive and it included a water cooler and mosquito net. There were so many windows to let light in and a view overlooking the jungle. Only thing that I didnt deal with very well were the lizards that kept getting in - one night there was a huge on the ceiling - thank god for mosquito nets!

Facilities: We pretty much took advantage of everything on offer; the pool, the massage service, room service, ubud shuttle, the airport transfer service. All good and made our stay a delight. Another thing to mention is that the hotel seems very big in pictures, but there is only 12 rooms meaning you feel like you are the only ones there and its VERY quiet/private. Staff are all incredibly helpful, especially the manager who went as far as providing iodine for my partner's leg wound.

Location: This hotel is not in the centre of Ubud which we personally LOVED. Ubud is full of tourists and very busy so to pop into town for the day and to come back to no people and just views was perfect. The free shuttle only takes 15 mins or so. The view is so worth not being near the centre. we were thankful that we chose the view over convenience.

Breakfast: The included breakfast was OK. Nothing special but arrived on time and hot so can't complain. We personally found the room service for lunch better than the breakfast.

Would stay again in a heartbeat.

First of all I am sure you have arrived home safely after your Holiday trip to the Magical Island of Bali.It is our pleasure to hear that you have your wonderful moments during your stayed with us and appreciated very much for your valuable comments about Ubud Dedari Villas.

I am very sorry to hear that there is a Gecko (not a Lizard) on the ceiling, time to times we try to eliminated those Gecko, but it was so difficult since our location is surrounding by the rain forest.Nevertheless we did the Fogging,Spraying regularly to eliminate the Mosquitoes,Termites,Bugs etc including to drifted away those Gecko.

We are looking forward to be at your services again in the future and please feel free to contact us again should your travel plan bring back to Bali.

Stayed here for 8 nights and loved it . Such a peaceful setting with amazing views of the jungle and the sounds of water and birds and insects around you. We stayed in Villa 10 which looked like the newest villa and was very comfortable, great big bed , water machine in the room with hot and cold filtered water so we could fill up our bottles everyday . Nice bathroom, pool towels provided , adapters in the room , fruits on arrival . Good size infinity pool. Gardens very well maintained. Tasty breakfast delivered to your room every morning , choices were varied too. Most of all the staff were very welcoming , polite , friendly , always smiling. Free shuttle bus to and from Ubud. We hired a car for most of our stay and they organised that for us. Transfer from the airport is $40 aud one way. Staying here made our stay in Ubud that much more special as we knew that we could come back to our little oasis after a hot day walking in Ubud or seeing the sights in Bali and we would feel relaxed and refreshed. We met the manager of the hotel Mr Poernomo Sasongko who was very friendly and organised some complimentary afternoon teas for us with Indonesian sweets which we found delicious and he gave us some ideas of places to see. All in all we wanted to say Thank you to all the staff for an amazing time here and we will be back.

Room tip: Villa 10 for a newer one or villa 6 for privacy

Just imagine: night, giant trees just a few steps away from you. And you see the sound, the voice of wild nature, you see the stars falling into the infinite pool. You seem to be so alone and so alive surrounded by the fantastic island. This is the smallest part of my feeling regarding this hotel. I am so thankful.
